  1. Well hell, if they’re going to get money for protesting, they can be taken off the welfare rolls, can they not? Ahhh! Free enterprise triumphs again 🙂

  2. I am shocked. Shocked I tell you. The protests seemed – what’s the word I’m looking for? – oh right – “organic”. Like totally grass roots and stuff.
    So completely disappointed 🙁

  3. Anyone know how much time and effort the MSM has invested in covering this eye-opening story?
    Sorry…. stupid question.

  4. Well, protester is as protester does. Since they don’t seem to be actually getting paid, I guess they’re just amateurtesters.

  5. So the protestors featured in the news coverage, expected to get paid for their “work”?
Getting paid for going out to protest, done in order to make the news coverage look good for the cameras, thus important enough to cover. That sounds like…
That sounds like the set of a Hollywood movie.
So, are the protesters being paid the Screen Actor’s Guild equity daily wage?
No, you say, because they’re not members.
If not, then the MSM are using “scab” labour!
The Screen Actor’s Guild should organize a protest and picket line over that.

  6. Y’know, what these downtrodden heroes of the Revolution really need,….is a UNION!
Yep, if they were represented by one of the PS Unions in America, they’d be properly compensated and would get all the perks they deserve, like sick days and free medical/dental,paid vacations, etc., etc.
I don’t know why someone didn’t think of this before. Remember, today’s revolutionary is tomorrow’s laid back civil servant, if they’re handled properly.
” Ah cain’t mah-arch,I gots ta think a’ mah pension”.
Is there a Nobel Prize for bringing peace to America’s cities?

  7. They were astroturf. But the left occupies the media as well, so it doesn’t get reported.

  8. Hmm… They are paid agents of George Soros looting & burning…Seems to meet the legal definition of a Group prosecution of “all” involved, and criminal charges for the Organizers…(shooting in Ferguson)
How much did CNN get to not to cover the leaders prep rallies, or show their faces during the riots. Did George Soros have Executive Producer rights to the event coverage

  9. Both Brian M and Robert of Ottawa say it well.
This does not surprise me at all that the radical socialist George Soros is behind this paying of protestors. I expect that he is also behind the funding of our own anti-pipeline protestors.
