  1. Henry Dampier: Kill the Kulaks.
    Also, Dampier’s The Ludic Fallacy.
    Excerpt:

The progressive project primarily works by conflating their models for the underlying world. Their priests believe that by changing the models, they can change the underlying reality. Because so many of the people who most fervently believe in the writ of progress live almost entirely in a model world rather than the real one (hence the Starbucks full of people staring into screens), they tend to be oblivious to changes in the natural world.

So, the focus ought to be on what can be done to de-Platonify life, rather than launching endless new counter-models against the ones who insist that everything can be rationalized.

  2. ” (hence the Starbucks full of people staring into screens), ”
    Man. He nailed that one.

  4. Christ is alive today, he is seated at the right hand of the father. He is waiting for his enemies to be made his footstool. From the way world events are playing out it appears that his return is very near.

  5. The silver lining in this story is that many pieces of art may be saved from the rampaging barbarians as Europe becomes Eurabia. Not having priceless pieces of art and history in one convenient location seems to be the way to go in light of recent events in the Middle East.

“Guests will be put through an ecology orientation program and plastic bottles will not be allowed on the island, located about 45 minutes by boat from Belize City.
That doesn’t mean visitors won’t be comfortable.”

  7. That’s just another bolus of hate filled screed from Harris, it may be a new low if that’s even possible.
IMO Harper should sue for defamation, there has to be a limit to this sort of personal attack. It’s not so-called “born again” or any Christian faith we need be concerned about in this world today.
    Shame, shame, shame.

  8. Henry Dampier: Kill the Kulaks.
“So, what is a Kulak to do? For one, you should take the language denigrating your ethnic group seriously, because calls for asset seizures are always presages to calls of physical liquidation. Once your liquid assets are seized, it is necessary to take your tough-to-move assets, and when you have nothing left to give, you are useful either as a slave or as a dead body.”
Henry sure says it well. It is almost unbelievable the extent to which the Bolshevik theories of societal change have taken hold in North America and in what we consider the western democracies.
I know, I know, Kulak spouting off again. But the story I have told about my late step-brother and my friend in Ontario having communists in the teacher training classes in the late 1950s and early 1960s has brought us to this.
There seems to be no General Wrangel that can stop this.

  9. Regarding Harris’s Harper hate fest articles. The articles should be perforated in 4″ squares so that they could be used in a proper manner.

  10. Thanks for that link anselm.
“I know smart Christians who disagree with you.” sez coolio interviewer.
It’s not how ‘smart’ you are as a Christian; it’s what and who you believe in.

  11. Sigh. It’s election time again in Canada. Expect an unremitting tide of news drivel henceforth.
We may as well give up on all the media now, whatever their political stripe.
    It can only get worse.
Oh, to be wandering somewhere in the hills of Tuscany right now with no access to Canadian news!

  12. We need to brace for the Duffy media circus coming to town tomorrow. The same media hacks who disowned Duffy as one of their own when he accepted his Senate appointment will now be scrambling to his side against Harper and his Conservatives both in the Senate and all involved in the party machine. The salivating has already begun.

  14. Me too. To be truthful it was the recessional hymn sung at our church on Easter Sunday.
I liked it because it let me know the service would be almost over and us kids could get back to playing outside.

  15. The drooling over any chance that our PM may be implicated in some kind of scandal will begin today.
CPAC the “unbiased” ran a one hour special on the the Duffygate scandal. Bloody sickening.
If anyone wants to see a right royal pr1ck, watch Tom Clarke interview the Minister of Industry James Moore from this past Sunday’s West Block. Again, bloody sickening.

“Twitter feed of armed man shot over threats to Newfoundland politicians suggests he hated Harper, Israel, and capitalism”
“No one knows anyone just by their tweets” was one of the last twitter messages, and probably the most ironic, sent by Don Dunphy, who was shot dead yesterday when he threatened Newfoundland Premier Paul Davis’ security detail with a gun. Violent threats on twitter that Dunphy made against politicians and their families was the catalyst that led to the chain of events which ended the 59 year-old’s life.”

  17. Re: Mike Duffy
I get a kick out of our media. And please note that the following text is my personal reflections on this topic.
For years Mike Duffy worked as a reporter for both CBC and CTV on parliament hill. I watched Duffy time and again, on every topic from the Trudeau government to the Vietnam war. I don’t recall one program where his employers or his competitors ever questioned his honesty or his accuracy. Nor did I ever see one word published about false claims against his expense accounts.
Now that same media (CBC-CTV-Globe and Mail Etc.,) on the eve of a federal Election, are roasting him on an open fire. Does anybody really believe that Mr. Duffy, overnight, decided to take a different path and start falsify his expenses, among other accusations that are being made against him?? If that’s the case, maybe we need to go back a few years and start questioning his integrity as a reporter?? As matter of fact maybe we need to go back a few years and start questioning a lot of other issues that are being reported on the media every day!!
    Twas just a thought!

  18. Poor Duffy. He wasn’t content with cold Camembert and broken crackers.

  19. Media Party: “gangrape”.
“a “story of journalistic failure that was avoidable.”
    …-

“Rolling Stone magazine on Sunday night apologised and officially retracted its discredited article about an alleged gangrape at the University of Virginia, and an independent review said the article may cast doubt on future rape accusations.”
