Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Maybe a few more folks will realize that the real war is truly on. Or more correctly, a 1000yr war heating up again right here at home…
6000 Muslim students in one university? Well, there’s your problem right there.
To those of the intelligentsia who have their heads buried in the sand, the camel is already in the “Big Red Tent” and thanks to forty years of Liberal tolerance and acceptance there is absolutely nothing we can do about it now except submit. Thank you Pierre Trudeau for opening the door and letting the camel in.
Come now people–this is all a figment of Stephen Harper’s imagination!! How do I know?? Justin Trudeau told me so!!
The whirlwind comes, and some like Trudeau junior and the assortment of anarcho-communists and malcontents seen in the previous thread are helping.
Keep bringing them in. Just keep bringing them in. The gates of Troy are open.
Remember people there is an election coming this fall.Who do you want running the Country?.Trudeau the great appeaser and terrorist sympathiser or Harper. The choice is clear. And how does Concordia get a dime of taxpayer money?I’m fuming.
I guess the sad part is that it took TVA this long to get around to doing three minutes of coverage on a situation that has existed for years and all of use have known about for years.
Gosh, what’s next? You don’t suppose (gasp) that one of these days they’re going to tell us that some Canadian Islamic educational institutions are advocating violence, or (the horror) that we might have officials in our immigration system who would be sympathetic to a Sharia state?
What makes you assume that it “took TVA this long”? I think you mean it took this long for news coverage to get to a blog you frequent.
Truth is that the media has been reporting on things like this in Québec for quite some time now. People in Québec have been talking around the water-cooler for a while about the clear-and-present danger and it’s regularly featured on talk-shows. It is in English Canada that the stories are suppressed and it takes bloggers to sniff them out.
There are thousands of valid reasons to criticize les Québecois…but a will for cultural suicide and media complicity: That is more an English North American thing.
What’s the point going off to ME countries to fight terrorists while allowing extremists to operate here in the guise of so-called religion?
Vos commentaires sont justes!
Et c’est vrai: au Québec, le grand public tend à s’occuper des dangers sécuritaires posés par les islamistes d’une manière plus attentive.
This used to be Sir George Williams University founded by the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) and Loyola College, a Jesuit School.
6000 Liberal votes in one place! No wonder Justin Trudeau is so busy kissing Muslim a$$.
“What makes you assume that it “took TVA this long”? I think you mean it took this long for news coverage to get to a blog you frequent.”
We watch TVA News regularly, and we have been doing so for years. And although its news is certainly better than the pathetic journalism of CBC and CTV, its coverage is invariably parochial.
I don’t recall TVA getting into much of anything about Muslim extremism until its owner, M. Peladeau, decided that he’d like to have a go at being King of la belle Province, and entered the political fray supporting Pauline Poutine’s Quebec Charter of Values.
“Et c’est vrai: au Québec, le grand public tend à s’occuper des dangers sécuritaires posés par les islamistes d’une manière plus attentive.”
Boy, I’m sure glad to hear that the public-at-large in Quebec puts “security dangers” first and foremost.
I mean, that’s probably what was behind Bill 101 – security concerns, right?
This is troubling, but Concondia should indeed have those controversial speeches, books, etc., but they should be housed in the library, not in a student association building/space.
The question is, would they give the same space, time and effort for anything related to Christianity ? I doubt it.
Don’t panic. The university library probably has Mein Kampf and the collected works of Karl Marx and all his wackjob predecessors. People do study these things without being advocates of them.
