  2. The fact that it’s considered “jaw-dropping” for the Dem’s water-carrier media to put straightforward, factual information in a report and a headline speaks volumes about how biased and unprofessional they are.
    Lance is right about the inadvisability of focusing on “one-off tactical successes”, because these blink-of-an-eye one-offs don’t even register in the long run, don’t mean anything, and aren’t actual victories in any sense whatsoever.
    Just for a bit of perspective: The first link at BizPac Review’s story about the putative “jaw-dropping” CNN headline took me to CNN’s home page, where there are approximately 82 links (“‘Top Model’ contestant slain”, “Cosby accuser: Remember me?”, “Lady Gaga joins ‘Horror Story'”, “Octopus leaps out of water, grabs crab”, “MLB star in body paint on SI cover”, “Pebble unveils new smartwatch”, etc). There was no link, anywhere on the page to the “Dems block DHS funding bill” story.

  4. No, you are wrong. Conservatives need to focus their efforts where it really matters: starting more conservative blogs/new aggregations sites and spending hundres of millions of dollars every four years trying to elect a Republican into the White House.
    Let the liberals have the entertainment industry, institutions of higher learning, public school system, businesses, legal profession, and all the social media vehicles. What’s really important electing Scott Walker president so he can cut capital gains taxes by .5%.

  5. I see it as making the Democrat party the ‘Party of No’, the obstructionists.
    Get rid of the filibuster and make Obama veto one bill/law after another, then make the Dems who won’t join the veto override votes the obstructionists along with Obama.

  7. Agreed. I’ve been wondering why the GOP doesn’t do just that. The dems have provided them cover by doing the same thing not long ago.
    That said, beating Hillary is the real goal. The GOP must keep their eye on the prize.jmo
