2. My sister, long ago, had a couple Mynah birds by the basement window, right beside the washer and dryer. They would go through all the sounds made by both washer and dryer in almost perfect sequence although in random order of operation. Amazing ability to mimic sounds. After a couple years she felt there should be more to their lives than she was giving them and gave them to a bird enthusiast with a commercial green house operation. 100 square ft. cage, tree branches etc. Those birds entertained many customers for many years and picked up a fairly decent vocabulary. Probably close to crows for intelligence.
