  1. She’s a classy old gal…63 years on the throne and no scandals.
Come next September I believe she passes Queen Vicky as the longest reigning monarch on the British throne.

  2. I stumbled across the link to this recording at Ace of Spades HQ.
It is of an amazing December 2011 performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony Ode to joy – Freude schöner Götterfunken (Schlusschor) by an amateur Japanese Chorus of 10000 in Osaka.

Reading more about this, there is a long history of choral performance of the Ninth (“daiku”) in Japan.
If anyone knows of a high resolution recording of this specific performance, I’d love to see info.
    Merry Christmas to all.

  3. I take it you stand right behind her in supporting the Militant Homo Agenda? She’s nuttier than a pile of squirrel turds.

  4. Thanks EBD.
God Save The Queen! Long may she reign.
May her great uncle and family rest in peace.

  5. At least the islam and secular humanists havnt contaminated all of the british isles they do beleive in Chriatmas

Nothing says ethical and honest more than an unaccountable, Unelected bunch of bureaucrats demanding immunity from national laws.
    I think I sense desperation.
First it was control of the internet, now its immunity from the law.
    2015 will be entertaining.

  7. Good one! I didn’t get any of that from HMQ’s presentation, either.
I’d have gone one further, though: please explain “nuttier than a pile of squirrel turds”.
Her Majesty, IMO, gave a merciless five-minute masterclass in how to wire together a great many tons of grief and political dynamite, systematically un-wire it all, make people feel that it’s a pretty good old season, after all, and that they should have a bit of confidence in the future. But, then again, she’s a pro, isn’t she? Sort of like Jack Nicklaus with a putter.
We were wondering, this past afternoon, around the Christmas dinner table, if she actually wrote this stuff (as opposed to thinking it up; that’s obvious) herself. My position was that she has significant editorial control, being, you know, the Queen, and all that.
In any event, Her presentation was impressive. I’d say, “as usual”, but she may just be getting even better with age. As Christopher Plummer said from the main stage at the Stratford Festival, on the occasion of the fiftieth anniversary of Her ascension to the Throne:
    “Ma’am, may you never close”.

  8. well now, she did marry “big ears” the IDIOT, or is that like the O having Biden as veep, to take attention away from herself. She is only the sanest of an insane clan. And that may just make her very normal:-)))

  9. Prince Philip is an idiot??? He may not be perfect but he’s far from being stupid.
Try reading some of his politically incorrect quips. Quite witty.

  10. “…libertarians are like remoras – they have no loyalties or allegiances, only hosts.”
There is more than a grain of truth to that. However, some old Greek guy, long dead, made this observation, “Far better to be Man discontented than a hog contented.”

  11. she did marry “big ears” the IDIOT
    She married Charles ???
    I never knew that.
Those royals are a strange bunch.

  12. The queen, isn’t that the woman who inherited the bigger empire in the last few hundred years and gave it all away? Abandoning all the subject who she was supposed to defend and care for?

  14. Prince Philip deserves respect for being the Queen’s rock. As David/Edward knew, it’s not a job you can do alone and he has been a continual support. For her sake, I hope he lives much longer. Watching him put on his overcoat after the church service with no assistance from his son (and yes, he would have been horrified if it had been offered), I know the angel of death will have a battle on its hands.
Philip had to be strong just to survive his childhood and the Queen would be aware of that, I’m sure.

  15. My God! These people ARE determined to get this kid into the PM’s Office!
They jumped “Jaws” with this one.

  16. I’m not much for this type of queen or monarchy as she has no power anymore over her subjects!! She is just a rich figure head with all the window dressing!! If she had power and a spine I would suggest she order all muslims to be removed permanently for all common wealth nations!! Just like that if she had the power her position once held at the snap of her fingers her will would be followed , no courts no human rights no debate , no vote, just do it or be tried for treason.
That’s the only reason I support her position either all or none. Ha ha I know it could go the other way she could order all guns be taken away bla bla bla. It’s a 2 way street, bla bla bla, it’s a double edged sword….bla bla bla.spare me. Give her power back let her make the call and blamo Britain and all commonwealth nations restored. But nope, we will pc ourselves to death with the whole not all muslims are bad, bla bla bla, most are peaceful. Bla bla bla, spare me. Our cultures just simply don’t fit together.

  17. Saved!
Trapped in thick ice while trying desperately to prove global warming would look like a huge failure in any other marketing campaign – but ‘scientists’ have worked feverishly since then to save themselves. Oh, and lucky for them there are engineers who built machines that rescued their sorry a$$es from being trapped in ice.
