I laugh when I have people tell me how much more freedom americans have than Canadians. America is being crushed by their governments and the people are too stupid to see it or do anything about it.
From the article, “EPA’s Biological and Economic Analysis Division recently issued a report proclaiming that seed-coating applications of neonicotinoid pesticides–the most popular and widely used insecticide in the world today–“provide negligible overall benefits” in growing soy crops….”
The EPA is Grubering the American people. I do not know much about Soybeans, but seed coated insecticides protect canola seeds during the insect vulnerable first two weeks of emergence.

Why do we think ALL the industry left Ontario for the USA, and then left the USA for China? We literally don’t even make hockey sticks here anymore. The last one left Quebec, Land of the Free Lunch for China a couple years ago. Even the subsidies and Special Deals couldn’t keep them competitive.
Farming is the only essential, non-mobile economic activity left in North America. Therefore it must be ruined and rebuilt as a government subsidized entity. There’s no other targets left, they all spit for Chicomland ages ago.
Bottom line, Communist China has cheaper, more bribe-able politicians. Who actually stay bought. Very 1950’s.
An argument could be made that we lost WWII. We have become what we held in such contempt even during my childhood. We are SUCKERS.

Once I started commenting on the article the extra caffeine in my mug of espresso took over.

Hold on, this is waiting to be approved by Somewhat Reasonable.
Let’s see; Germany has now approached the Coal Fuel Power Plants the German’s regulated into shutting down (requesting?) they restart to ensure there will be electricity. Because of the Climate Change?
The U.S.A just might be recognizing they will only be able to provide food for the Political Class and also recognize this means the encouraged minority riots will be replaced by the “For Real Riots” by the majority. This might affect the political class entitlements.
In Canada the Progressive (sounding) Liberal entitled politicos were kicked out of Ottawa as their corruption could no longer be hidden. They then moved their “dog and ponies” to Toronto and sucked up the existing Local Liberal Leaders into their recognized “Pinochlo Politics ” and sufficiently setup all the Liberal Insiders Local/Provincial/Federal/ with taxpayer subsidized sinecures of Alternative Energy funded by the Ontario taxpayers.
As a parting gesture the Pinochio-in Chief slipped out of town with his tail between his legs to the U.S.A. Academic hiding place; for all caught Progressive villains. Leaving his ever-willing conspirator to face down the One Billion $ use of tax payer money to buy representative seats and retain control of the Ontario Legislature.
A normally compliant police service belatedly “growing some” now undertaking to investigate the “Lost Emails” (seems to have an American flavour) which detailed the compliant politicos who planned and executed the mis-use of tax payer funds.
However; there was one last blast from this group of Entitled Ottawa Politicos, using the always “we know better than you media, led by the Gnat Post & Star. They pushed the FIFTH largest in North America Turbine Bat-Killing and Bird-Chopping WIND FARM on the constituents of the former Leader of the Conservative opposition riding. (Take that! You should have fell for our Pinochios and we will make an example of you)
The aforementioned Gnat Post & Star distorting the Conservative message as usual and moving the Government Union “Me First” then fund the education and patient needs media audience.
I am not so sure the Liberal Entitled are gone yet. The next generation of the Libranos have been raised in the “Liberal Party is like a Nuclear Submarine sailing below the consciousness of the Electorate”. These scions of the Pinochios are used to easy access to other’s funds and will use anything but integrity to grasp their Entitlements.
