I Felt A Great Disturbance In The Narrative

Boing Boing;

Shawn Parcells became an instant media star in August after assisting in a private autopsy commissioned by the family of slain teen Michael Brown. Parcells showed up constantly on TV news as a forensic pathology expert, and claimed to have testified in court dozens of times in several states over the years. He also claims to be a professor. “But an investigation by CNN that included interviews with attorneys, law enforcement and physicians suggests Parcells isn’t the expert he seems to be.”
Actually, the investigation makes him out to be a “con artist,” “manipulator,” and “fraud,” according to pathology experts interviewed for the piece.

  1. Well his big supporters in the MSM was CNN.. as such, anything and anybody they have on their programs has a very real, detectable odour of bovine fecal matter.

  2. This could also have been tagged with the intellectual and moral superiors given he conned CNN and MSNBC among others.

  3. …”con artist,” “manipulator,” and “fraud,” all words with the same definition as Liberal.

  4. Shades of Thamsanqa Jantjie, the signing interpreter at Nelson Mandela’s funeral, who signed, among other things, ‘prawns’ and ‘rocking horses’.
Can’t wait until they dig a little deeper on Obama…

  5. Hey Kate, why give the MSM a platform as if all of a sudden CNN is doing some real investigative journalism? The media wanted this riot all along is my guess and are now trying to fool the public that they really care about the truth.

  6. Lynch them all.
According to Mark Steyn, a man has been charged with a felony for pointing a banana at two police officers.
At least they didn’t shoot him.

  7. Is this not some kind of unusual era in America? A guy without credentials is doing autopsies and giving televised interviews about a case that resulted in riots and looting, but nothing is done about it because nobody in authority cares.
We are living in interesting times.

  8. “…Shades of Thamsanqa Jantjie, the signing interpreter at Nelson Mandela’s funeral…”
Damn! Beat me to it, ya bugger! 🙂

  9. –Earlier this year, Parcells’ LinkedIn page said he expected to start medical school at the International University of the Health Sciences in the Caribbean starting in September 2014. Later, the date was changed to 2015.–
This reference reminded me of a great line about Ronald Reagan’s invasion of Grenada back in the day:
“The President had to invade Granada because the American medical students there were dangerously close to graduation.”

  10. “Parcells showed up constantly on TV news as a forensic pathology expert, and claimed to have testified in court dozens of times in several states over the years.”
The part about claiming to have testified in court dozens of times in several states over the years may be true. I can totally see this guy as a defendant testifying about his part in petty fraud crimes.

  11. I guess we are seeing what 47% gets us.. Dumbed down and then some. As Kathy Shaidle so wisely said”They should have picked their own damn cotton” P.S. I love that quote. It explains the last 200 years in a capsule.
