funny CBCpravda doing their usual of reporting the average for the year is the highest ever.but doing it in October so it abrogates any responsibility of adding in the last two months.
The comments over at this article are revealing to say the least.
It would appear the average joe is waking up to the bs.
Hot water freezes faster than cold water – strange but true.
Cool!
Damn gorebull warming, screws up every thing
I recall back in the 80’s, a cold windy night, real cold…real windy.
Dad’s bedroom was on the exposed side, and chilly…..3 bricks thick with just plaster and lath interior. Dad refused to sleep elsewhere.
I proceeded outside with a big bucket of hot water and a saucepan. I threw the hot water into the air so it sprayed on the house wall. It appeared to just turn to steam/fog but froze on contact with the brick. I swiftly coated the wall with a layer of ice.
Time I got back inside Dad’s bedroom had gone up 15-20 degrees….
Zamboni’s use hot water too….
A coupla years back the curator of a small museum in Vermont…New Hampshire…or somewhere there..made a revelation.
Back in the 18th-19th century a lotta folk kept daily journals….logging visitors…. events…..news….the weather…these were in the museum’s archives….
It was deduced in those past times 6 out of 10 Christmases were green not white…
Haven’t heard about that fer a time…she musta got assassinated…
There is a lot of that ‘earliest on record’ stuff going around lately.
If it happen to be ‘earliest on record’ for the next 5 years in a row, we are all in deep Kim-Chi.
