We need to defund the CBC immediately. That’s just disgusting.
The headline is now updated to read: Israel to ‘respond harshly’ to deadly synagogue attack: Benjamin Netanyahu
That’s the main thought the CBC wants to get across? In the middle of the article it is briefly mentioned that, “Hamas, the militant Palestinian group that runs the Gaza Strip, praised the attack.” This is trivial and unimportant I suppose. The main concern for the CBC is the danger of a forthcoming Israeli “backlash”.

The article is reminescent of a satirical article which followed the shooting down of KAL flt 007: A planeload of American spies attacked a soviet heat seeking missile on a peaceful mission over soviet air space. No Soviet troops were injured in the attack. The missile was a complete right-off.
Even the Guardian does much better: “Four killed in attack on Jerusalem synagogue.” Further down there is mention of the assailants being killed in response.
As a propaganda piece the CBC only missed stating that the synagogue is now “Judenrein”…
Just wow, the CEEB goes for “Der Sturmer” readers. Well beyond pathetic, they are now simply cheer leading the terror element…
The CEEB can’t even bring themselves to condemning the ‘whacking of worshipers’ in their own temple.

Two Palestinians armed with a meat cleaver and a gun carried out the attack at the synagogue before being shot dead by police.
Gazan revelers in Rafah handed out sweets and brandished axes and posters of the said perpetrators in praise of the deadly attack.
Palestinian radio reports described the attackers as ‘martyrs’ and Hamas praised the attack. Loudspeakers at mosques in Gaza called out congratulations.

I think this is true, but it’s difficult to remember at all times: With the CBC, as with Obama, and the rest of the pomo progressive culture (media, Hollywood, most, but not all, of Academia), what appear on the surface to be statements of fact are really nothing of the sort. They are disguised prescriptions: they tell us what we are required to believe. Otherwise, thoughtcrime!

CNN seems to have been the most truthful: “Terror Attack Kills 4 in Synagogue/Attackers had axes, knives, gun”
“Israeli police killed the two Palestinian assailants” is further down.

So what did the CBC reporters on the scene happen to report?
They just make it up as they go, pimped out by the Liberal Party of Canada at the taxpayers expense.

I’m confused. At one time, not so much, but after reading comments on other sites I really do need to know. What part of Israel are Israelis occupying that isn’t “owned” by them.
The rest of the Leaders in the West could take a page out of Netanyahu’s book on dealing with terrorists, David Cameron especially. Bibi called in the demolition crews to flatten the terrorist’s houses. I’m in favour of taking down the mosque they attended as well. The peaceful Muslims must out these terrorist in the nest if there is to be peace otherwise they are accomplices and should be treated as such.
Bibi should also bulldoze Gaza, as the celebrating and handing out of candy in the streets as celebration is despicable.
The real question would be whether Greenpeace would protest them pushing Hamas into the Mediterranean and mark it as a humanitarian or environmental disaster?

Oh, I think the Ceeb could work themselves into a lather if ‘the whacking of worshippers’ was jews attacking worshippers in a mosque, but that isn’t going to happen. Can you imagine if there was a centuries old synagogue sitting on the former site of a razed mosque, that the religion of peace would let it stand for…. oh forget it. Not even in the real of conjecture let alone possibility.
