1. Funny how they don’t allow comments on that site.
Could it be they know how hard the laughter would be at their ridiculous position?
When exactly are we de-funding the CBC again?
Not soon enough!

2. Mohammedism is not green it is blood red, through and through. I deeply resent the fact that my hard earned tax dollars pay for this tripe.

3. Prince Charles beat the raghead to the punch years ago when he announced Islam and its slaves as natural born environmentalists. They have certainly created enough human compost to fertilize the world.

4. Now remind me again where I’ve heard, “We are the original environmentalists?” It is on the tip of my tongue, but my mind is cluttered with visions of baby diapers and garbage strewn about, uncared for houses, cars on blocks, satellite dishes about … and for all we know big-screen TVs too. ☺
Let me think more on where these “original environmentalists” live. Hummmm… ☺ ☺

5. If it means Lizzy May will be covered head-to-toe in the full Islamic black body-bag, that’s a good thing.
As for the content it is the words of a Taqiyya trained jihadist living on the backs of taxpayers as reported through a similar and dhimmi media.

6. Aaaack! I can’t take it anymore! Dumbest thing I’ve read today! Add that to yesterday reading some comments blaming Harper for the Ottawa terrorism and nut cases calling him a homicidal maniac, staging the whole thing. My God, have people completely lost their minds? The useful idiotry is out of freakin control!

7. What about all the lead they’re always spraying around various environments, including their own?

8. Oh, come on now. Islamic environmentalists have successfully reduced eliminated thousands of carbon footprints.

9. “…Catholic and Protestant Christian theologians became less interested in thinking about the cosmos and the world of nature. …” says Seyyed Hossein Nasr. Good thing the CBC found a world-renowned Islamic scholar to tell us what Catholic and Protestant theologians think, or we might have to check with Catholic and Protestant theologians themselves to find out what they think.

“Fine. The Muslim world can shut off the flow of oil then. We will get along just fine”
Never fear Muslim countries will NEVER shut off their oil to the west. They love western goods and money far to much for that. In addition Muslim countries cannot produce their oil without western experience and technologies.
At the end of the day we are the biggest fools for not using our economic and tecnological leverage against the middle east.
The Saudi Kings and princes et al have no intentions of trading in their lear jets and rolls royces for camels again.

11. “Now remind me …”
Here’s a hint Clive: It was a movement that also tried to reduce humankind’s environmental “footprint” by reducing the population. Of Jews. And anyone else who disagreed with them.

12. Definitely a new low (or a new HIGH) for our friends at the CBC. I agree with The Phantom – when are we finally going to quit funding this crap?

13. I expect nothing less from the Communist Beats Capitalist corporation working under the guise of a objective news outlet. Predictable as always.

14. “the Islamic world — like the rest of the world — was simply trying to catch up with the errors of the West.”
Amusing indeed. The Ottoman Empire was or claimed to be the height of civilization in th 16th century, but Nasr says the Islamic world has been just trying to catch up. Of course maybe he’s saying that Turks aren’t really Islamic. Either way it’s self contradictory drivel.
You folks need to look on the bright side. Associating greens with islam may be just the thing to finally and fatally tar the greens.

15. A religion that wants all of humanity to live in the 7th century where the height of technology was a horse & wagon, bow & arrow, and mud huts with dirt floors, yep sounds like a non industrialized green life style to me.
What a moron.

16. Oh yah, a cult that lives in a desert! LOL
Don’t eat that Elmer, that’s horse dung!

17. How many greenhouse gasses are released when a suicide bomber pulls the pin?
This utter drivel right after the situation in Ottawa smells of trying to justify, or at least sanitize, Islam.

18.
”As long as men lived according to religion there was no environmental crisis,” says Nasr.
There’s no environmental crisis now either.
But Christianity’s sensitivity to the natural world changed in the 1600s, he argues, with the trials of Galileo (for suggesting the Earth revolved around the Sun, rather than the other way around as the Bible had it)
Huh? I’m not a theologian, nor am I a biblical expert but I think I would have heard about it if the Bible said the sun revolved around the earth.
