  1. That’s because lots of us like thugs, especially black thugs who practice their thuggery on “other people”.

  2. I am not a big fan fan of football, but I predict the current
commissioner of the NFL is toast. The radical left has
targeted him and they will not stop until he is replaced
by a flaming lesbian. When the left has their long knives
out, any apology will be followed by demands for him to go
on a never ending apology tour until he beclowns himself
so thoroughly, he has to resign.
The radical left is hell bent on destroying the institution,
and replacing it with some unmanly sport like soccer or cricket.
If you want to solve the problems with thuggery in the NFL,
reintroduce morals clauses. A one page amendment should do
the job nicely. Do illegal or performance enhancing drugs,
shoot guns in nightclubs, beat your spouse, commit any felony,
and we suspend your multimillionaire ass the minute you are
    charged without pay.
Better move for a speedy trial, because the ONLY way you get
your job back is to be found not guilty or acquitted. Anyone
not signing the amended contract is out the door like shit
    through a goose!
Moral clauses were commonplace for actors, athletes, beauty
queens, models, etc. for what seemed like forever. Why did
    they cease using them?

  3. Hey Leonard.
You clearly have never walked out from the pavillion to face off against a 6’4″, 90 kg West Indies fast bowler, have you? It feels a lot like being sent “over the top” in WWI, …from guys who actually did both.
See in cricket, “bodyline” (or bowling deliberately to smash a wobbling pudding gut with a 115 mph fast delivery) is actually legal, if said tub o’ guts happens to be in the way of the wicket.
And if you think footie isn’t a man’s game, why don’t you go and give it a try at your local club, in a serious game? I mean, how tough can it be, right? 90 minutes of running, passing, and getting your legs chopped out from under you by some serious hardcore players.
All athletic sports are hard if played seriously. Witness Germany – Argentina in the last world cup.

  4. I think there is little doubt that athletes, especially in team sports like football and hockey, tend to be very physical – but it is hardly and excuse for assaulting women.
That said, we must ask how stupid it would be for a woman to attempt to get physical with them – I know I wouldn’t! It looks like this woman attacked him just prior to lights-out. Then how stupid would it be to then get married to the same guy? I guess money and fame counts!

  5. The same people …. Indeed!
But in this latest example of manufactured outrage the hypocrites of the left think they have proved that the NFL is responsible for players home life.
Since when is the employer responsible for what employees do at home?
All bullsh!t …. and Roger Goodell is a disgrace because he caved to howling effetes and shreeking harridans with that disgusting spectacle of an apology.
Another take on this Sh!t Show …

  6. I actually was a fan of the Los Angeles Aztecs back in the
early 80’s, when we had a real soccer team here. I agree that
no other athlete could have the stamina necessary to play the
game. What I am talking about is that American football is
unique in that huge hulking men routinely slam into one another
in an attempt to do harm. Maybe rugby comes close. The real
problem is that once the liberals destroy American football,
soccer may be next. This has been the MO of the radical left
since I used to count myself among them back in the early 70’s.

  7. how about a 220 box lacrosse defender who CAN hit you with a stick , and a 115 mph rubber ball that only bounces true on the first bounce .
    that’s the amateurs
in the NLL there is just one more page of rules than the WWE
