Music is the universal language, and love is the key. Tonight, former West London grime rapper L Jinny keeps it real as he treats us to a couple of krunk tunes from the Warm Up Sessions.
The son of an Egyptian “who was extradited from Britain to the United states on charges of terrorism in 2012″, Mr. Jinny’s def rhymes (“swagger dagger with the sore throat”) have been played on BBC Radio 1, and he is currently a “leading suspect in the…beheading of journalist James Foley.”

  2. A British Muslim leader called for action on Thursday to tackle a jihadi sub-culture after an Islamic State video showed a suspected Briton beheading U.S. journalist James Foley, held hostage in Syria.
    As Western officials tried to identify the man, the Muslim Council of Britain denounced Foley’s “abhorrent murder” and one of its advisers urged anyone who knows the killer’s identity to contact the police.
    Horror at the video spanned from the West to Baghdad, where Iraqis asked why the United States and its allies had not cracked down on Islamic State fighters long before they captured large areas of Syria and Iraq.

  9. Any mention about what the Liberals did on this issue during their long reign in power? What can be done to fix this tragic situation? What would Mr Justin of Trudeau do to address the issue? What did Chretien and his gang do during their long romp in power when they weren’t busy trading bucks for votes a la Adscam? Ditto Paul Martin, what’s his suggestion, he’s high on Indian issues?
    The Liberals threw money around but did nothing to follow it up, it ended up in the usual place, that bottomless pit. Where would an inquiry lead? There’s one way to end Indian problems, none have the will or guts to do it, shut down reserves.

  10. Well, if the shoe fits, in this case it does, what’s the problem? In politics if the truth hurts, so be it. Trudeau is from a privileged background which is not his fault, what is his fault, he doesn’t realize he is in no position to govern the country. He apparently doesn’t know enough to see the danger in that given the serious issues in the ME and Europe that could affect us all.
    We as a country would have a pig in a poke scenario should enough what’s-in-it-for-me’s be dumb enough to elect this political front man,a dilettante. Who exactly would be making the big decisions? A Prime Minister stumbling and bumbling on the global stage, talking about “root causes” for terrorists/terrorism, is an invitation for tyrants to take advantage and given some of Trudeau’s flower child dictum we’d be in danger bug time.
    Those who suggest a good government like the one we have now are in too long, saying it’s time to “throw the bums out”for that reason are using it as their only and last vestige. They cannot care about their country, it’s progress, it’s welfare, safety and security, that includes the Media Party and push us into being run by the shell that is the LPC at this point.

  12. Using the term “Elites” regarding Trudeau and his pushers and blind followers is a pittance regarding the real problems Canada would have with that cabal at the helm. Picking up on that as a critique of the Conservative “arsenal” for the election campaign is ignoring the factual information they’re putting out, a lot coming straight from their leader’s mouth.

    Note to NB: Feel free to collect dole mostly paid for by fracked oil wells in the west while you spend umpteen years deciding if it’s worth using in your province so that you can finally get off welfare and pay your own way in this country.

  16. It’s not about whether or not you think the names being called are correct.
    The point is that the name calling is coming from both sides, and neither side can claim the moral high ground. Name calling is juvenile politics.

  17. Good shot there Al, given the mess in Ontario under under majority Liberal rule we can include them along with Quebec, Nova Scotia and PEI. We all know the flack Harper got for mentioning he would like to help the Atlantic provinces beat their culture of dependency. I guess for the majority, who vote Liberal or NDP, working for a full year is against their traditional way of life.
