During the recent Calgary For Israel Rally, a small group of radical idiots across the street shouted “Heil Hitler!”
Thankfully, we have reporters like the Calgary Herald’s Erika Stark to bear witness:

No, no, of course not. In her later report published in the Calgary Herald, though, Stark quotes one of the “Palestinian protesters” as saying –
“Stop killing our kids. Give us food, give us water, give us shelter. Put religion and politics to the side. Kids are dying. That’s the main thing why we’re here.”
Here’s the thing: I was there. I watched them. I listened to them. Stark’s quote wasn’t even remotely the gist of their “argument,” and based on Stark’s own tweet, she knows it.
Get a different job, sweetie.

Exactly. If a group of white supremacists showed up across the street from a civil rights rally and screamed about, I don’t know, bringing back lynching, does anyone seriously think that Stark – or any other reporter – would ever write “They’re shouting things I shouldn’t tweet”?

Though shrinking in circulation and influence, the city newspaper has the status of being a paper of record. Misleading the readership simply needs to be noted
and publicly condemned.
1.There is a Calgary Sun paper to write a letter to the editor, too.
2.There are open line programs and there is an editorial phone line and letters to the editor of the Calgary Herald, too.
Use these outlets, until they learn, that without credibility, they are doomed of their own making.
3. Hamas is a designated terrorist organization, recognized so by Canada, the U.K., the U.S. of A. and Europe. Equating Hamas as representing the interests of Palestinians, makes all those countries who assist Gaza as indirectly funding Hamas, but not having to face up to their policy failure.
4. The Obama administration has 4 times prevented/subverted Israels plan’s to attack and destroy Iran’s nuclear weapon’s program. Iran is also the largest supporter of Hamas, not that the Muslim Brotherhood has been ousted.
This shows what giving a Nobel Peace Prize to someone who had only been in office two weeks, and has been supporting both the M.B. and Iran for 6 years, really means. The President of nuclear proliferation to terrorists, quite aPresidential platform of “Hope and Change”? Not what everyone expected.

Interesting that you bring up the Calgary Herald building site.
Years ago, the Herald ran a bunch of articles about buildings constructed on contaminated sites. I know the area where the Herald building is very well….and I recall a dump right in that area. It held all kinds of old busted up cars and it was literally a garbage dump.
For some odd reason, the Herald stopped beating that contaminated site drum…..perhaps they realized that they sat on one.
Although it appears that the toxic fumes still escape into the building from time to time as this piece of “journalism” seems to reveal.
Maybe she couldn’t tweet the words because they gave lie to her beliefs.

As I mentioned in the reader tips a couple of days ago, the head count for the rally according to the police present was around 800 -900. As predicted the lame-stream media tried to minimize it.

This whole pro-Palestine/Hamas media revisionism of the Gaza-Palestine-Israel conflict seems to be a contest to sell the biggest lie – and on our side of the drink (where the politics of both sides should be considered abhorrent by our national values) the issue seems to attract the most skilled psychopaths available to street confrontations and media proselytizing – let’s run down the skill set of the typical political psychopathy needed to support a terrorist agenda –
– Superficial appeal — persuasive, feigned vitimization while having vile intent
– Pathological liar – lies reflexively to manipulate others
– Pretense of normalcy – pretense of piety while concealing despicable agendas
– Parasitic lifestyle – desire to live off others or avoid working as hard as others to get what you want
– Superiority delusions – belief of being morally or intellectually superior
– Mistake their narrow-minded deviousness as intellect
– Stimulus addicted – avoidance of quiet in sighted reflection
– Machiavellian egocentricity — a tendency to consider only personal needs
– Remorseless – no sense of guilt or shame
– No Human empathy – total inability to sympathize with or understand others
– Blame externalization — a tendency to assign blame for problems to other people

These people don’t need media validation and counter protest, they need confined isolation from normal people and a shrink. A few years back in Afghanistan, our CBC managed to get a news crew to the funeral of a child killed by a ricochet from a Canadian soldier.
They interviewed the upset relatives and made it back with their scoop. It was an 80 mile journey over arguably the most dangerous roads in the world. I figure that they negotiated their safe passage with the Taliban.
A while ago when the Sun News crew, Global news, and CTV were all having difficulty with the fracking native protesters in NB, only CBC went unscathed. Hmmm …
