  1. I agree that David hits the nail on the head, and the same applies to conservatives in Canada. Instead of going on the attack, they end up back peddling and accepting being on the defencive. By doing so they continue allowing the neo-communists/Left to set the rules and the game plan. There is a need for strong conservatives in politics with a strong will and courage who seem to be as rare as hens’ teeth.

  2. I wish you were right, Alain, but whereas there may be more of a conservative appetite in the US (Tea Party), I’m not sure that actual conservative policy would have the same appeal in Canada. Harper’s centrism while frustrating, is probably as good as it can get without moving the culture in a direction that makes liberty and fiscal sanity more marketable here. Ontario and Quebec still comprise a large part of the electorate and both are reaffirmed statist basket-cases. Obama still scores higher in Canada than he does where they are starting to awaken to what they did to themselves and the world by electing him. This is where he has been the most successful POTUS in history, in carrying out his goal of destroying as much of America and as fast as he can, all simply by appealing to toxic racial guilt as cover for lying about virtually everything.
I like Horowitz’s honesty and integrity. He is now on a mission of atonement for being part of the evil left (redundant words).

  3. John, you may of course be correct, but I am not so sure. In spite of a much longer period of time that Canadians have been indoctrinated with what I call neo-communist propaganda through the “education” system, the MSM and previous governments, I find that most of the people I encounter are actually quiet conservative in their values without recognising it. Still the most important point made in the interview in my opinion is the requirement to take the battle to the Left instead of allowing them to set the rules and game plan. It really is not difficult to provide documented proof that government programs and policies of affirmative action/employment equity are racist and sexist and do great harm to society. Even the terms affirmative action and employment equity are examples of allowing the Left to hijack language and set the rules and game plan. In any case there is no danger of any politician here changing things.

  4. Said up there: “.. I find that most of the people I encounter are actually quiet conservative in their values without recognising it.”
    Canadians.

  5. Robert:
I do SDA on my leisure computer, the iPad mini.
Nearly 100% of our video clip embeds show white space only.
I pointed this out to Kathy Shaidle some time ago and she seems to have fixed it using some different kind of code I gather.
I know you’re a computer guy: any chance you can look into this?
