  1. I left my kids in the car for a minute to drop something off at the post office and when I got back to the car some lady was waiting for me and gave me what for. I guess I’m lucky I didn’t get busted by the cops!

  2. While space aliens are plausible, I’ve decided that things are now run by the enemy. Aka, people who have common sense, but act against it deliberately to bring down the nation. Why else would you build windmills when what needs to be done is to upgrade the transmission infrastructure?
Mere theft and incompetence is no longer sufficient to explain modern governance. Its deliberate.

  3. CPS has learned a trick from the avaricious Marxists in the animal rescue racket – just substitute child, for dog and you can run a profitable child abduction racket.
Given the fact that a large percentage of foster homes/parents are abusive pervs , there is a good market for kids these days.

CPS is there to satisfy the demand – with UN-based child welfare regs to abuse, a growing working poor class to exploit, and a fully perv-compliant family law system there to support the child redistribution rackets, you can expect to see a lot of this – until, as the article suggests, the soiled masses start boiling tar and braiding horse whips to protect their children from child stealing racketeers.

  4. I blame the changing nature of policing and law enforcement. ‘Serve and protect’ has become cross-threaded with some kind of mothering thing more suitable to concerned social workers.

  5. In the relatively healthy of society of old, people obsessed over the likes of Ringo Starr and Farah Fawcett Majors.
    Today? It’s the kids. Creepy.

  6. The world is run by Mountaineers.
    (With somewhat predictable results).

  7. From the article, “To be clear: We have entrusted power to people who are intellectually and morally unfit. They should no longer be permitted to wield it.”
The article author has it right. This type of thinking has permeated all segments of our society and is a product of the Marxist mindset which has been inculcated by our educational system.

  8. Last winter a mother was charged when her 10 year old daughter was found alone in a car. The kid was well dressed for the weather and in fact had left and re-entered the car several times on her own volition but somehow or other it was Mum’s fault for abandoning her ‘child’. A few generations ago a 6 year old girl was expected to ride a horse to school when it was too far to walk. I know my cousin did it on a daily basis. She is now a happy grandmother.

  9. When I was 11 or 12 I used to wonder miles through the bush full of nasty animals. Mind you I usually had a .22 or a 12 gauge. Worked out okay. Why don’t we just arm the kids so they can look after themselves?

  10. This happens because we, as a society, have happily outsourced so many adult responsibilities to the state (health care, education, transportation, resource ownership, etc) that child rearing and total nanny-statism isn’t that much of a stretch. Supporting some while attempting to oppose others on principle isn’t a winning formula unless slowing the decline is considered victory.

  11. Spent many days sitting in the parking lot of a tavern. You’d see kids in the other cars. None of us minded.

  12. When a society abandons morality the vacuum filled is usually superstition, or paranoia.
Relativism has brought us all to the brink of insanity. Yes there is deliberate sabataoge from 40 years of social engineering. But that doesn’t explain the sheer perversity of the times. Its like witch burning in the middle ages. Reason was dumped for social constructs with no logic.
I call them mental viruses. We have seen some during our life time. From devils in daycares to adults with fantasies of parents raping them. All supported by so called professionals.
Its irrational. Look at the TDSB promoting child abuse, while at the same time not allowing bean bags or even balls to be used.
You have mothers following their kids in cars for a 3 block walk.
Yet at 8 I was using a 22 to sell gopher tails to farmers.
Playgrounds are empty because any thing fun has been removed, than replaced by pretend forts or swings that don’t move.
When you have no faith in any thing, you have no security in nothing.

  13. Hmm, my mother walked me to school on the first day when I was the ripe old age of five. That was it, for the next dozen years I trudged to school across major roads in whatever weather Mother Nature provided. Somehow I survived and my mother eventually passed away without a criminal record. Look at the street at 3:00pm in front of schools now – it’s row after row of idling cars. No wonder kids get fat and lack independent thought. Since they nearly named the emergency room at the local hospital after my skate-boarding son, I guess I was a bad father too. Mind you, he has grown up to become a commercial pilot, I doubt the coddled wussies could become anything other than teachers or social workers…

  14. And sometimes Dad would run out with some potato chips…. Those were the good nights!

  15. Everything we have lost, or are in the process of losing is being taken from us with very little protest, by bureaucrats who think they know better what’s good for us. Under “think of the children” and “every life is precious” we have let them get away with destroying many of the pleasures most of us grew up with and they are a long way from being finished, because we let them. The nanny state busybodies are organized and even enjoy government support with our tax dollars. We complain to each other and that’s usually as far as it goes. Why should anyone be surprised we are now becoming a nation of weenies, whiners and wingnuts ?

  16. OCCAM The truth is the parents of this kids really dont give a f#$k about them so there willbe no tarring or feathering, unless these kids manage to stay out of jail long enough to seek justice to the very parents who put them in that situation in the first place. we are falling fast and hard, morally, socialilly, economically.
The apathy amongst, liberals, perverts, libertarians, and in general just regular people towards these poor kids in these abusive homes. Just for 1 minute put yourself in there shoes, having no-body care for you or about you NOONE NOT ONE PERSON…..And the ones who have been entrusted to care for you turn out to be the devil in the flesh, every single night you tremble nervously hoping you don’t hear those footsteps coming down the hall, and the fear running through you when you do….not understanding why this is happening and not understanding why other kids are worthy of their mothers&fathers love and protection …but you ,you are left to the perverts, and paedophiles, freely passed about by your u.n.,or gov sanctioned pimps as you are passed on from 1 abusive perverted foster home to another.
Raped, beaten, verbally abused…..molested and tortured. And we wonder why our jails are filling up. These kids NEED LOVE AND COMPASSION, THEY CRY THEMSELVES TO SLEEP begging for 2 good parents they can trust that will love them and they can love back. there are no bad kids just bad/absent/apathetic parents. There will be a reckoning. my heart and soul goes out to these kids. i had broken poor dysfunctional home but i was never abused or mistreated . All the more reason for me …AND YOU to be outraged at this kind of crap. the U.N. must be abolished,we must change the court system, the justice system needs to be put back in line with scripture not some human arbiter of what is just and unjust as we can see paedophiles serve 90 days Indians murder and a few months but a woman leaves her kid unattended at a park and she gets how many years?

  17. “…CRY THEMSELVES TO SLEEP begging for 2 good parents…” and even one would be enough. (I’m not agreeing with the idolization of single motherhood and the denigration of the role of fathers – having two good parents is more than twice as good as having one because teamwork is a force multiplier – but before we outsourced good works to a government welfare system, when people were allowed to fail, generations of widows and widowers demonstrated that one good parent can give a child a good upbringing.)
