    The same company is building 92 turbines locally, although they have better weather for construction than last winter. Locally there are lots of stories that point to inmates running the asylum. It’s going to be interesting to see just how big of a farce the whole green energy scam is going to be.
    Fight like hell if you don’t have turbines yet, and someone near you wants to cash in – it’s a bloody mess.

    Just in case you thought you could parent whatever way you see fit in 2014 America:
    A North Augusta mother is in jail after witnesses say she left her nine-year-old daughter at a nearby park, for hours at a time.
    Hours at a time? At a park? In the summer? Gosh! That certainly sounds normal and fun like a reason to throw a mom in jail—and place the child in state custody.
    Here are the facts: Debra Harrell works at McDonald’s in North Augusta, South Carolina. For most of the summer, her daughter had stayed there with her, playing on a laptop that Harrell had scrounged up the money to purchase. (McDonald’s has free WiFi.) Sadly, the Harrell home was robbed and the laptop stolen, so the girl asked her mother if she could be dropped off at the park to play instead.
    Harrell said yes. She gave her daughter a cell phone. The girl went to the park—a place so popular that at any given time there are about 40 kids frolicking—two days in a row. There were swings, a “splash pad,” and shade.

  18. “It’s a bloody mess” is the right description for the majority Liberal government the idiots of Ontario voted to continue with the McGuinty wreckage.
    McGuinty scuttled off like a rat, hid out in Boston for a year then came home all smiles when Wynne got a majority to claim he was vindicated.
    Anyone with a thought process beyond a turnip should be calling for him to face an investigation as to what exactly went down with all the scandals that went down under his watch. Lies were his specialty but they don’t seem to matter, they didn’t cost money but people stupidly believed him through three elections, they gave him the power to do his dirty work.
    As usual we will not see any charges, he’s Liberal. We now have charges piled on former Senator Duffy, he was Conservative, vive la difference!

  26. Alberta taxpayers (thanks to PC government) are subsidizing the rebuild of a mountain golf course to the tune of $18 Million dollars for the rich, along with other grants. Since when was government in the business of taxing citizens for the recreational benefit of wealthy old guys???? (I know it’s a rhetorical and depressing question to ask).

    The White House has picked the first female general to head the Air Force in the Pacific, which will make her the first non-pilot to command air power in such a large theater of operation.
    The Pentagon announced this week that Air ForceLt. Gen. Lori J. Robinson has been nominated for promotion to four-star general and as commander of Pacific Air Forces, the Air Force component of U.S. Pacific Command. It is a major combatant command whose air, ground and naval forces have broad responsibility for security in the Asia-Pacific region. Her nomination was sent to the Senate for confirmation.
