  1. Lefties can’t see a problem with wide open borders because it’s always someone else that has to pay. You simply tax the rich a bit more and there’s no problem. Long term implications and loss of border control is beyond their comprehension. The cost and swelling demand on schools, hospitals, social benefits, police and court services is definitely beyond their understanding and the signal that goes out to every poor country that the borders are open to anyone that can reach them should swell the number into the millions before the next election. Let’s see now………almost 50 million on food stamps now, a true unemployment rate of almost 23 %, Feds printing money as fast as they can spend it with nothing to back it up, trillions in debt and trillions in unfunded liabilities…….good grief I could fill up pages on why this is a really bad idea but Obama is all gung ho on this and the lefties are cheering him on, so how could this possibly have a bad ending ? FORWARD.

  2. Exactly. Furthermore, Obama and the rest of the Democrats are making sure that there will be more Democrat voters in the future.

  3. It may get them more Democrat voters, but then the Democrats have to find a way to fund all those extra goodies, without a corresponding extra tax base.
They’ve not thought their cunning scheme all the way through, in more ways than one.

  4. I know it shouldn’t, but it never ceases to amaze me that the hosts are so are disbelieving when someone puts forward an opinion that is contrary to theirs, but it does.

  5. Paul Rodrigues…..a typical comic/funny man….
I have known many such people and know of others….
It would be unfair to call them unhappy people…..but they are certainly serious folk….
I suspect to be really funny they must excel at critic thinking….that’s why Chris Rock, the Damen Bros. are not really funny but just profane. George Carlin, Bob Hope, Joan Rivers were/are outspoken and serious…..Politically correct not so much.
In the tradition of Court jesters…..most of whom died of natural causes….those few who succumbed to foul play were usually the victims of courtiers, the queen or some bishop…. not monarchs…. the assassins were invariably discrete….the king would not be amused.

  6. The question, is rodriguez representative of a larger group within the latino community? Lemon definitely is nit represntative of the larger african american community. But he left that group a long time ago and is more reflective of his media peers.

  7. Typical CNN dialogue – always pimping the globalist commie cause to remake America into some 3rd world ghetto – gotta love the line about “why are we divided on this issue” – there is no “division” – most polls are showing 78-82% of Americans are POed at the way the border leaks and blame Obama for the current crisis. As political opinion goes that seems like fairly unanimous on the issue, but to the lying scum at CNN Americans are “divided” .
Seriously there has to be an indictment against such blatant disinfo milling.

  8. I think the division is between the political class and the people. Something becoming widespread and wider across the Western world.

  9. How refreshing to hear what absolutely needs to be said by Rodriguez. He is 100% correct.
But true to form…the lefties simply do not comprehend what he is saying….it will be their downfall as a nation. As for CNN and all the rest of the MSM in the US…Pure Propaganda..of a nature Joseph Goebels/Stalin would be proud of.
What is not said is that there is plenty of evidence that groups like the Cartels/Gangs have over the years solidified contacts with Al Qaeda etc and with open borders…what better way to infiltrate into America eh..?? A Fact that I am also 100% positive, Obama understands.
Why no one has taken a run at that POS is simply beyond me.
There is a revolution coming in that country folks…mark my words. Long overdue in my opinion.
As for us above the 49th..god help us all when that pretender becomes PM…as I fully believe he will. Looking at Ontario/Quebec…it will likely be a Liberal sweep through both provinces. Sad really…but on the other hand, it will stoke the fires of separation in Alberta/Sask and that might just happen this time.
A notion I would very likely support.

  10. steakman;
Sadly as a old Reformer I agree with your fears about the next federal election. The irony of a intellectual lightweight like Turdeau becoming PM escapes so many. A serious condemnation of the level of public awareness and discourse. It could easily split the country again but now there are allies in the West who will not join a Reformer type effort. The fundamentals of Canada’s history have not changed that much since the CPC gained power. The overriding belief is still that the resource wealth of the West be transferred east for consumption. It is how this country has been run since the 1600’s.
As far as the invasion of illegals from South America many who are defending their acceptance are those that benefit from the support services they will consume. In many cases ‘progressives’ are simply that because the accountability is not there and a living can be made from it. This works very well because the level of thought required is not high in relation to the return ($).

  11. This is a replay of the British Labour Party’s decision in the early 2000s to throw open the borders of the UK. This was nothing about relieving a shortage of workers, this was about changing the nature and character of the UK population. Labour thought white people, even Labour voters, were too racist, nationalistic and “British.” It was a social engineering project to achieve multiculturalism, to rub the noses of the Right in it.
There was a law passed in 2008, signed by George W. Bush, to require special consideration of refugee status of residents of certain Central American countries fleeing gang violence and the like. Everyone was to get an asylum hearing and a lawyer. Okay, maybe that is workable when there is a trickle of asylum-seekers, but see what happens when there is a flood? Totally unworkable. This is the Cloward-Piven Strategy— overwhelm the social services and court system to cause a collapse. We don’t want to let a crisis go to waste, right? This all goes back to Obama declaring in May, 2012, that he would not deport children.
The fact of the matter is that an overwhelming majority of immigrants from Mexico and Central America (about two-thirds) want more government services, comes from countries with a long anti-capitalist tradition, and most importantly, vote Democrat. This is what it’s about. The electorate is not buying into your vision of the future fast enough? Change the electorate.
As a wag once said on another topic, “that’s why I buy ammo.”

  12. I think it would be better to shoot for a Quebec+Toronto (not Ontario) seperation scenario.

  13. We need more weird little brown people to speak up because it”s the only thing that might filter through the Liberal Lefts retarded state of consciousness.

  14. I bet this invasion will turn out just like the exodus from New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Everywhere they put these “children”, there will be a crime wave.

  15. “A notion I would very likely support.” I agree, and I was born in Ontario.
If that effete snob becomes PM he will do his best to milk the west once again. However, if PM Harper is returned as PM the west will have another four years to expand the growth and creation of wealth. Industry is closing down in Ontario and is increasing in the west.
Trudeau will be the last gasp of the Laurentian elite’s grip on control of the whole country.
max, unfortunately that will not happen in the foreseeable future, but freedom loving people can relocate like I did.

  16. That’s probably the last time Paul Rodriguez is invited to be interviewed on CNN. He speaks the wrong truth.

  17. Which is why making leftists/liberals own their massive mistakes is something that needs to happen. Make the leftists take in an entire family of these illegal immigrants and see how long they feel that “no one is illegal”.

  18. Yep….he’s now on that same $h**list as Jon Vogt, James Woods, Clint Eastwood, Joan Rivers,……….

  19. You got it!
Global agenda using Cloward-Piven architectural plan.
You can see why the Adelson, Gates and Buffett oligarchs are getting impatient.
