Alex Tsakumis is a well known media personality in Vancouver, known for stirring up the pot and refusing to conform to the narrative that the rest of the media herd often follows. Yesterday he had an interesting post on his Facebook page about Vancouver’s mayor, Gregor Robertson:
A quick search of this story revealed absolutely no other reports to confirm Robertson’s alleged affair with a city hall staffer. When Tsakumis was asked whether this story was 100% accurate, he responded thusly: “I’m 1000% sure.”
Many would argue that infidelity between a couple is entirely between them. Fair enough. But ask yourself whether the media would have been so incredibly silent if the same had occurred with Rob Ford or Brad Wall or Danielle Smith or Stephen Harper?
Its why most folks look at the Media as a bunch of partisan roaches.

Knowing Mr. Tsakumis (as I have, but never formally) it would be hard to believe that he, himself would find this shocking. Still, it does show a character and judgemental flaw, but he must be forgiven because he likely rode his bike to and from any and all affairs!

Yeah, it matters that he used his power position to ‘bang’ someone who is under his mayoral authority when the NDP has been all about feminism since forever.

A man with any honour and guts would not be having an affair on the side. A man with honour and guts would split from his wife first.
So if a guy has no honour and guts when it comes to the most intimate of family matters, is there any expectation that he can be trusted with the care of a million or so nameless souls with whom he has absolutely no connection?

Clinton wasn’t impeached for having an affair, he was impeached for LYING about it while under oath during a deposition.
This is different, but that being said, his having an affair with somebody effectively in his employ is reprehensible and should lead to his ouster.
(Unless of course, the subordinate is male, in which case all will likely be forgiven by the homophiles in our media)
CKNW radio station in Vancouver, just read a statement from Mayor Moonbeam – he claimed that he and and his wife have mutually agreed to separate – without animosity, and he denied the allegations about what he did.
Oh and as far as Tsakumis is concerned, if you don’t want me to read you, by all means keep up with the annoying audio player that doesn’t want to shut off! It’s as irritating as the auto-run videos that many news media sites have take to.

This is about as surprising as rain falling. Gregor Robertson is a recognizable political type. Others in the set would include Bill Clinton, Gary Condit, all three Kennedy brothers, Gavin Newsome et cetera. The probability that he’s been banging the help approaches 100%. A point of order. He claims that bill Clinton was impeached for less, but in fact Clinton’s impeachment was for perjury and subornation of perjury for lying while under oath in a deposition. He also temporarily lost his license to practice law as a result. The left in the US is forever lying about the charges brought by the House so I can understand the error but if we allow the lies, little and big, to go unchallenged then we are ceding the ground to the progressives.
