It explains how Obama’s political petulance made him ignore fundamental military strategy by ignoring the obvious center of Islamic militant gravity the Middle East in favor of redeploying the ground forces to a PR fantasy campaign in Afghanistan.
There’s nothing in place available to stop al-Qaeda. The forces that might have are locked up in the Southwest Asia, sustained at the mercy of Russia and Pakistan. Obama has been faked out; the AQ have gone around him for a layup to the basket. He may lose Iraq and its border with Syria before the year ends. Afghanistan’s fall will follow almost immediately thereafter, behind the last American troops, whose safe exit from the landlocked country is now by no means guaranteed. The Russians lost more than 500 men going out in 1989 — and they only had to cross a land border a short distance away.
The only way things could be worse is for US troops in Afghanistan find themselves trapped, denied passage by Pakistan or Russia. Of course that could never happen because the press never considers the possibility and it considers Obama too “respected” for that to occur.

I particularly liked that line because we all know Obama fancies himself as a bit of an expert in basketball. He’s “got game” as he would say. But as it turns out he knows the square root of f-all about The Great Game that has been played since before he was born.

What surprises me is that there hasn’t been a military coup in the US to eliminate this traitor. The situation is due to either:
(a) everything is going exactly as planned for the commie plant who has become TOTUS
(b) this is what happens when you have an affirmative action presidency.
The minor problem of Biden as TOTUS would be easily solved when all of the traitors are put on trial.
This won’t affect us much in Canada (unless the Texas gulf coast refineries are blown up by AQ terrorists — stupid move to put such a huge chunk of N. American refinery capacity in such a vulnerable location) as we have energy independance. However, the Euroweenies might find out that their “green energy” was just a tast of what’s in store for them as they freeze to death by the millions trying to get enough solar energy in a little ice age winter at norther latitudes.
The only person that can see this in a positive light is Putin; things are going exactly as he planned. When one pits a chess player who’s survived the brutal ecosystem of Russian politics against an individual who is overwhelmed by the game of checkers, the end result is all too predictable. The only chance the US has is if there are still some US high ranking military officers with the balls to eliminate the worst traitor in US history.

Peterj, the winners are the ones who write the historical narrative. John Wilkes Booth did eliminate the worst president in US history but not the cult of personality that had grown around Lincoln. Thus we are given a false narrative in place of the ugly truth of the War of Northern Aggression and the crushing of states rights which the southern states naively presumed were constitutionally protected.
What’s needed is a total demolition of the corrupt political culture that has grown up in Washington and a return to basic constitutional principles. Unfortunately, residence in Washington seems to have the same brain rotting effects in people that has been seen in Reform politicians who go to Ottawa. Thus, the Pentagon is stuffed with politician ex-soldiers (David Hackworth’s “perfumed princes”) and only a blow coming from outside of this incestuous nest of psychopathic perverts and plutocrats will save the country. This is why meteors striking Washington DC and Ottawa simultaneously would do more long term good than any other options I can think of.
Most likely, should a military takeover of the US government occur, it won’t come from the perfumed princes of the pentagon who are on the payroll of approved oligarchs and who owe their positions to kissing the current politicians asses; it will come from soldiers who still believe in the primacy of the US constitution and see their duty as the defense of the constitution rather than acting as the enforcement arm of the criminal cabal in Washington. In this scenario, there would be no statues to Obozo and any holidays commemorating him would likely be the burning of him in effigy. Also, subsequent rioting among the LIV’s and food stamp parasites would reduce the numbers of parasites in US cities significantly as well as the numbers of moonbats who choose to live in those fragile cities.
