On Tuesday night, at the beginning of the Ontario leaders’ debate, Kathleen Wynne emphatically apologized for the gas plant scandal.
Then she apologized again. And again and again.
If she was hoping that would be the end of it, she was sorely mistaken.

Will that translate into votes though. Especially when you have police with guns taking her side?
This is a new low even for Canada’s Liberals, or should I say Marxists.
Make no mistake Using the police to further her power will have heinous consequences for years to come. In Alberta we will never forget the High River gun grab. Our politicians including Wild rose stood silent as peoples rights where trampled, there homes pillaged.

Why do most police forces now have recruiting problems. Its actions like the OPP that have debased this important profession, as well as the RCMP. People now know the Police are not working for them any more.Indeed the public has become the enemy. Its their Unions that come first, they have become the political classes praetorians.
How many folks have even stopped phoning police any more because they won’t respond to even dire threats to people. In fact turn on the victims.
This has come about mostly since Caledonia & the RCMP burning other property. Before that we had actual serve & protect real police. Now police have just become another political group. That will help even the public’s foes(criminals) more than the citizan.
Not all police to be sure , but with “Diversity” (The word that means every culture is sacrosanct except ours)
Not just cops. Our local firefighters have just sent an open letter endorsing the Liberal candidate. Why, you ask? Well, because their union met with Wynne and made a deal that their
future compensation would be exempt from any wage freeze.
Greed before honor.
Bad enough to have the OPP rackets division delving into the Liberal gas plant cancellations to save two seats, now we have their union backing them. Wynne can apologize but she knew what she was signing her name to when she signed the dirty deals along with the Rat McGuinty who scampered off like a coward.
Only corrupt people could support corrupt governments, Ontario votes on the 12th, we’ll see just how corrupt the people of Ontario are and in what regions they live.
The slide into reputation loss for official entities start with casual treatment of what ordinary citizens consider things they would bring censure on them, are ignored by the media and officialdom. When there is a breech of the fairness understanding the ordinary person says little but steadily becomes hardened to officialdom. The disregard by the R.C.M.P for the rights of the President of the Business Development Bank of Canada during the Jean Chretien Regime is a watershed moment in my view.
When the value of the benefit packages for Civil Servants at all three levels of Government, particularly the federal level, was revealed to the masses it was both a shock and anger generating issue for struggling ordinary citizens and taxpayers. Particularly during the financial collapse and it’s effect on small business. How did the wage and benefit packages for tax paid workers become so far out of line when compared with the private sector became the discussion of political aware citizen. An unfortunately declinig group in the “don’t talk politics, it is discomforting” Canadian approach
However; people began to understood through the internet there was collusion between the media and politicians to succour the bureaucracies. “Let’s hide this so we will have it easier to get insider news/jobs/ or maintain our position as an elected official” . The wink and nod across the different tables where the supposed antagonists met.
Then the recognition it is the greedy and opportunistic who flock to the Political Hog Trough. This is where the money and opportunity lay. It is the place in Canada where one goes. Not to the marketplace to work hard for wealth and advantage. Canada’s place for the “Let me up the ladder Jack before you pull it up crowd” need to be in The the civil service. The greedier and less competent saw their opportunity in the Union’s of the bureaucracy. Don’t be a sucker! Let us promote the Brokerage Politics which will allow our groupies to gain more than other people from Society.
The coupling of the media and special interest groups refocusing the business of government away from it’s prime responsibility of holding the Bureaucracies accountable and preventing the kingdom building. Taking the easy way by creating ope ever increasing regulation for control of the taxpayers and most importantly many more government jobs so the offspring of civil servants will find steady secure employment.
Is it too late to stop the slow grinding wheel of government? Maybe!
But hopefully the average citizen/taxpayer will begin to understand more about the political caste system of Canada than they understand about the Sport/Celebrity caste system presented to them. Bread and games is really an insufficiency of lifestyle. Cheers;
Lost all respect for police officers and firemen. Will never treat either with deference or respect again.
Supporting a corrupt regime for personal gain makes them scum in my eyes.
Though they have seen dozens of movies and documentaries of southern highway patrol supporting the local governor and suppressing opposition, big city liberals can’t believe it can happen in Ont. Worse, as long as it is a Liberal government, does it really matter?
Apart from Caledonia there are plenty of examples of disturbing police antics. On the wind turbine front, there are just too many cases of creepy visits activists have endured from the OPP. Just how does the OPP obtain a list of people to be watched closely at public meetings? Who are they working for, the foreign wind concerns, Liberal party of Ont? There is no evidence whatever of illegal tactics or violence by wind protesters.
Granted Wynne isn’t Huey Long and Ont isn’t yet a 3rd rate police state, but evidence suggests there is an unhealthy relationship between OPP and the Liberal party. If there is no worry, then one way to find out is elect a PC government.If the OPP do not cooperate with the new government, then appropriate actions can be taken.
The first fears about democracy were that the poor would vote themselves money. But recent events, especially during the Ontario election, proves that the greater fear is well healed public employees voting themselves other people’s (and their children’s) money.
In other news: Even the Globe and Mail endorse Hudak.
It will pan out like BC. Public Sector unions will vote for Liberals. Private Sector will vote for Hudac majority. Pollsters will have leg between tail.

You Ontarians have got Wynne and the Liberals “on the ropes”.
But, like in the famous Trudeau/Brazeau boxing match, in which Brazeau ran out of energy,don’t let up, don’t take anything for granted.
Get out and do whatever the Party needs you to do to win, door knock, phone, put up signs, talk it up at your coffee shop, keep the pressure on!
This election is beginning to look like the 2011 federal election, with the pollsters still joyously and disingenuously predicting a Liberal minority or at worst another Conservative minority right up until the final results were tallied.
But we all knuckled down and got out the vote and we got our Party elected.We defeated the Liberal/Media Party coalition.
The momentum has changed in Ontario! Take advantage of it! You have to boot these crooks out NOW,this election, or they’ll be in power for another twenty years.
Maybe I’m too logical but after a pathetic 11 year track record of increased taxes, power rates, scandals and major companies leaving the province, I am still amazed that the Lieberals and Wynne are still in the race let alone as popular as they are. The mind boggles at the ignorance of the Ontario electorate.
I think it is all the teachers, nurses, public servants and Toronto elites — also just the genuinely deluded.

That Liberal voters and the supporters of the Liberal Party would support and take part in the corruption shows how obviously out-of-touch they are with human decency.

It’s a dead heat between Liberals and Conservatives, with the tie going to the incumbent. The 416 and 905 areas in Toronto are the most populous and also the most politically brain-dead regions in the Province. Inexplicably, Liberal support is north of 40% in both regions.

Just finished 3 hours of canvassing for our PC candidate, David Porter, and a got into discussions with several people who will vote Lieberal. They were primarily retired teachers who stated Hudak will be firing 100 teachers. They didn’t really care about paying taxes just voting Liberal blindly. Conservative supporters I spoke to were astonished that people would still support the incredible corruption and waste of the Liberals.
I hope I am wrong but I think it will be a Lieberal majority as Wynne continues with the giveaway of money that we don’t have. Not one of her planks was about cutting spending.
