MT: @YourMichelle They had him sprawled on my front lawn for some time and then loaded him into the swat vehicle.

  2. Let us hope the full weight of Canadian Justice will bear down upon this unfortunate young man.
Clayton Ruby, you available? It’s on the taxpayer.

  3. I truly admire the restraint of the police officers involved, ie that they took him alive. Still they are probably all thinking “C’mon, just give me a reason.”
I expect Justin Trudeau will be getting all root-causy over this guy any moment now.

  4. I’m just glad he was taken alive and not in a ridiculous hail of bullets like in Boston. That was a such a disgusting and scary play-out of the police state. Glad to be North of that border.

  5. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the RCMP members who lost their lives. An absolute waste of lives for nothing… terribly sad. Don’t know if I could’ve shown the same restraint the arresting officers showed in apprehending this cold blooded, gutless criminal.

  6. My heartfelt condolences to the families of the fallen. So stupid and useless.
Now to wait for the MSM to sensationalize the whole episode and thus create copy cats.
SUN Media broadcast a list of don’ts for the Media so as to not create a repeat.

  7. Innocent until proven guilty. I certainly would like to hear his version of the story. Moreover, I am waiting for some credible reconstruction of the events until l then will not give benefit of the doubt to cops.

  8. “I’m just glad he was taken alive and not in a ridiculous hail of bullets like in Boston. ”
Or the premeditated cold blooded execution like the one Dorner got. Indeed give credit when credit due.

  9. It’s started already the usual suspects are politicizing the event as a pro-civilian disarmament, pro-police state soap box.
Civilian gun control/disarmament is at the forefront of the culture war and my feeling is the only reason the suspect was taken alive is because there is something he represents or in his mindset or motivation which fits their agenda – had his profile not met the stereotype used for political purposes I’m quite sure he would have never would have lived to see trial or a media interview.

  10. Good.
Now we might get some answers.
Wether we understand these answers will depend on our self honesty, of course.

  11. Prejudice much?
My position is closer to Colonialista.
It is folly to assume anything at this point. Indeed it is questionable to ” give benefit of the doubt to cops.”
The “Rise of the Praetorian Class” phenomina has breached that trust.
Note the only “victims” in this matter were Police in a target rich environment, a city….that’s a howcum that needs to be addressed.

  12. @ Colon: You idiot, are you for real? Same goes to your fellow delusional idiot, Sasquatch and anybody else that sides with them. It’s simple, he was a remorseless psycho loser and the only way he could get satisfaction out of his useless existence is to ambush the police to get famous. The cowardly dog then later put his weapons down and gave up WITHOUT going down in a hail of bullets. Now some puke dog of a lawyer will plead the ‘not criminally responsible’ defense which could mean that some leftist lame-brained board will release him when they decide he will no longer be a danger to society which could be 5 years later. Give your heads a collective shake you morons.

    Like Omar Khadar?
Soft jail cell, early parole and a million dollar taxpayer funded apology?
Just kidding, no worries they said he was a home schooled christian unknown to the law, he’ll never see the light of day again.

  14. Sorry, Canuckguy, but after High River and the OPP getting involved in the Ontario election, Colonista and Sasquatch have a point. When this gets to trial we may find out it isn’t so simple after all.

  15. k99, you DO understand that I am one very sarcastic SOB.
And Clayton Ruby, btw, defended Our Little Omar’s Daddy, as well as Burns and Rafay, among other upstanding characters.
In this case, I hope the system will work to it’s optimum, with the guy getting the BEST defence available. And if he gets off on say, an insanity plea, so be it.
That’s the system that never had a chance to work with Marc Lepine/Gamil Gharbi because he selfishly chose to commit suicide.
Had he allowed himself to be arrested, and had one of Canada’s great defence “top guns” represented him,he’d have been out on parole five years ago,or copped a crazy plea and been out in three years.
So due to this inconvenience,(or was it convenience?) Kim Campbell and the rest decided to punish all of us who owned guns.
When this is all over,in about three years, the great Canadian Justice System/Industry will have spoken.
We shall see if they made any sense.

  16. You forgot all the innocent people the cops killed who they thought were also Dorner.

Yes I do, and so am I 🙂
Cheer’s, was just spring-boarding off your comment, I know what you meant and agree 100%.

  18. to bad the little puke hadn’t blown his head off…
if we had a justice system, we would give him a trial this afternoon and hang him tomorrow.
We already know he did it, and i don’t care what his excuse is.
all that matters is he did it….hang the little bugger, he won’t do it again.

  19. @Ed:
Well Ed, I think in this case, the conclusion that I jumped to will be proven correct.

  20. Been camping for a weekend so am not up to date on the most recent developments but feel obliged to address your inquiry.
“@ Colon: You idiot, are you for real?”
Oh am I real, baby, as real as they get.
    “blah blah blah… ambush ….”
Ambush? He was transporting two unrestricted firearms, a bow and a knife and got assaulted by jackbooted thugs who have an established record of violence and contempt for individual liberties.
“yada yada … cowardly dog then later put his weapons down …. “
Successfully defended himself from the assault by several trained professionals, neutralized the immediate threat, disengaged to avoid further bloodshed. No innocent bystanders were scratched. When felt safe laid down his arms in order to defend himself peacefully in a court of law.
Do I know that is what has happened? No of course not, but at the present moment seems like a most probable scenario.
“etc etc … and gave up WITHOUT going down in a hail of bullets….”
I always thought that suicide by cop was a cowardly way out. Oh well. Give yourself up? Bad. Fight to death? Also bad. It appears that the only course of action you condone involves licking a jackboot.

  21. If Dziekanski successfully defended himself would you be calling for his head too?

  22. They victimized a lot of innocent people, but unless I missed something, killed none except for the execution of Dorner. Of course those who sprayed the two pick ups (and should have been hanged) faced no meaningful consequences because they were cops.
