Where do schools find such blatantly stupid people to run things. They aren’t going to win this argument – ever. They have never heard the expression – Pick the hill you are going to die on.

Freakin’ A! If Americans willing giving up the right of free speech, especially with respect to the specific historic document that enshrined their free speech, the jig is up.

“Free speech zones”? “Safe spaces”? Let’s call this nonsense out for once and for all. Unless this is Pyongyang, there is freedom of speech EVERYWHERE and if the pants-wetters don’t like it, they are welcome to leave themselves.

My friends at The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, as noted in the story, are on this. This is going to cost the University of Hawaii a sizable amount of money. Courts have repeatedly found this sort of thing to be an unconstitutional restriction on free speech. My guess is that it will be settled before trial (if the University’s lawyers have any sense whatsoever, it will be).
God bless The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, which will stand up for the rights of any student or employee of a college or university whose free speech rights are being infringed (with the exception of some small colleges, mainly religious, who clearly state that there are restrictions on speech).

Funny as obumbles the Hawaiian Kenyon is supposedly a constitutional lawyer. Not that there is real evidence for that or any other accomplishments.

Notice how they took free speech. Put it is a zone on the worst area of the campus. It seems this University views free speech like smokers.
Hide them in the worst portion of land you can with out ash trays, than complain about butts.
This is about punishing those with any views other than Marxists ones. The Constitution being the very antithesis of the Left.
From my view all of America is a free speech Zone period.

2004 study by the UoT, it self a lefty sh!thole, found that 87% of NA upper colleges and university perfessers were lefties, I don’t think that # has reduced, probably increased. Not being able to distribute the “constitution in print” is akin to not being able to fly the Stars and Stipes, bunch of A-holes!

Very simple, the opposites of “diversity” are “peace”, “tranquility”, “trust” and “community”. All of those are destroyed by “diversity”.

Time for the rest of the USA to secede from Hawaii.

Can you imagine our Canadian courts sticking up for freedom of speech? Can you even imagine that one of them would issue a dissenting opinion in favour free speech?

It is evident that Universities have been the epicenter for the attack on Americanism/Ideals/ freedom ever since it was infiltrated by Frankfurt school pedagogues. The last decade PC (AKA American Marxism) has become overtly aggressive and open in its intent – that intent is to attack the remanants of American social liberty and constitutionally constrained government, and instill acceptance of a militarized domestic police state abusively enorcing PC and anti-constitutional governing.
Banning the distribution of the nation’s rule of law is unconscionable, the dean should be dismissed and indicted for seditious conspiracy.

Supreme Court of Canada chief justice Beverley McLachlin wrote several vigorous dissents on freedom of speech cases, including Keegstra (1991) and Harper (2004). Sadly, she went over to the dark side in Whatcott (last year).
