1. A stark reminder of times that could well come around again. We, as nations are now less prepared and have grown much softer.

3. You ain’t seen nothin’ until you’ve seen an abandoned Warsaw Pact base.
   They make any disused installation in the West look like a garden.

4. I went to the kelvington secret nuclear bunker in southern England , huge underground structure wrapped in wire and entirely filled with 1960s era paper phones and 70s amber screen computers. Walked from by the gubmint for a £1 I think
   Missile silos in the USA left as well

6. Well last I checked the “Tower of London” is also an abandoned military site and, among other things, no doubt qualifies as “creepy”.
