3. That figure is for all of Canada. Given the stats in the body of the article, the majority of missing and murdered women in the North are in fact aboriginal.
   There’s still a math-is-hard moment in there, though. 83% of the missing and murdered women in the North are aboriginal! Quel horreur! Except 83% of the people in the North are aboriginal, so there is no racial disparity in the numbers.
