In this one week we learned that you can buy crack pipes out of vending machine for a quarter in Vancouver … and that a baby now can have as three and in the near future, likely as many parents as the orgy participants will allow in the sack. I think I will consider converting to islam and joined the jihad. It’s starting make more sense than what we have.

  6. I get that it’s strange, but eh, it could be worse. The baby could have no one who cares about it’s well-being. Back in the ’90s (and hell, even now) there’s such a hullabaloo about single-parent families from ‘family values’ folks – why should we be upset that a child is being raised in an (albeit atypical) loving family?
    The fact that the kid has “Kangro” as a middle name is downright bizarre, however. I think that merits the asteroid rather than the ‘brave new world’ family she has.

    More often than not its your bad traits and your wifes bad traits blinking back at you.. The more parents you add the more excuses/demands that will be thrown in your face..
    Children thrive by dividing and conquering.. Its hard enough to maintain parental unity with just two parents.. Three I think would be near impossible.. Any 3 way relationship camping on top of this powder keg is doomed to failure..

  15. Well I think it’s selfish all around..first of all I am not opposed to gay people adopting, but I am against this kind of craziness. First of all yes I am happy the child was born but this child was born out of selfish self centered arrogance. they decided they wanted a child? what about when they decide they don’t want a child?
    What about when daddy seems cooler than my 2 mommies? exactly not a lot of thought going into this garbage. poor kid. I wish the best for this little baby. but I think daddy is a typical self loathing white liberal male who will become the carcass that the women and baby the judge and lawyers feast on.     The gays also want all government paperwork to say “Parent 1” and “Parent 2”. They want your kindergarten kid to learn that Daddy loves Daddy. And so on and so on.
    The negative consequences of gay marriage have been easy to predict, but most people are so brainwashed by political correctness that they cannot even see the obvious anymore.
    You might as well take the traditional institution of marriage, family and children, and burn it. It is not worth anything anymore. It’s done. Cooked like a Sunday roast. At this stage, it’s open season.

  22. The comments above underscore the reason that the state should not be involved in marriage or almost everything else. The state represents all and therefore attempts in complete futility to make as many people happy at the expense of those who are not. Thus, politics becomes a game where the prize of victory is lording-over the cause de jour on everyone. Obviously, the state can’t represent everyone when the issue is the sanctification and contractual enforcement of a civil arrangement of deviant minority behavior.
    Despite the gender preference issue of the parties, they are likely decent people capable of raising children and safe enough for the child that it should not involve the state unless there is evidence to the contrary. As far as the arrangement, the state should be limited to contract enforcement (although that too can be privatized) and as far as how many parents or spouses or goats and sheep are involved, let the parties live under their own contractual arrangements and don’t demand or assume that all others are interested in celebrating it. Laissez-nous faire.

  25. I get where you are coming from JOHN ,and you make some fair points that I tend to agree with …how ever in taking the stance that you have , basically you are saying that you don’t give a rats a$$ about the health and welfare of the child.
    Even if you are right about the parents being good parents, that kid is doomed from the start. How does a 12 year old kid in high school explain that to a bunch of testosterone driven, malicious and naturally pack mentality kids? This poor girl is at the mercy of 2 people who probly spent a potion of there life trying to figure out what gender they were and weather they liked the sword or the sheath.
    I hope the best for this baby girl, I will pray for her welfare.
    I can only imagine a lesbian being woken up in the middle of the night to a crying screaming baby with a diaper full of sh!t, lesbians and homosexuals are genrally not them ost patient ,outgoing people in the world.
    Look for these three in paper in the not so distant future!
    As well john if the state should be out of the business of marriage as you believe then they should be out of banning, and punishing those who choose not to perform it for any reason as well!

    I think the key to understanding the mind of a progressive is this: they arrive in their imagination at what they believe should be the proper state of things in the universe (warming globe, men who are actually women, etc etc) and then simply conflate that imagined utopian vision with reality. Anything that gets in the way of this “reality” is discarded, ignored or fiercely attacked (just try not attending a “gay pride” event if you’re a public figure).
    It would all be rather amusing had it not led to 120 million or so corpses in the last century.

    What people do with their lives, in their homes, bedrooms, offices, cars etc. are personal activities and are, by their nature activities that cannot be monitored or prevented outside a tightly controlled police state where there is technology in every place a human may go. That is actually on it’s way under Obama.
    A good example is the failure of the war on drugs, the failure to stop abortion, the failure to stop almost anything that individuals want to do with their lives.
    If people are choosing to be idiots by getting tattoo plastered or by aborting a child or smoking pot …. or getting obese or smoking cigarettes etc … there isn’t much a libertarian can do to change that …. so the libertarian simply moves to what he might be able to change or make better … SUCH AS THE ECONOMY, THE BORDERS, BASIC SECURITY, IMMIGRATION …
    In other words … Libertarians are too smart to waste their time trying to move the immovable, or change the unchangeable.
    In other worlds …. It would appear that Libertarians are smarter than conservatives and liberals combined. Ayn Rand was much smarter than Hillary Clinton.
    Getting a government subsidy to flog a dead horse is a liberal trait.

  30. This child is not only a social experiment, she is someone’s middle finger to society. She is not meant to be loved and raised properly, only to prove a point. However, the point these three selfish people will really prove is how people, with the government’s help, can be total @$$holes.
