  1. The PARTY OF HATE will always come to the surface to bash honourable people and actions…

  2. Good for Baird.
Of course the tweets knock him. Showing solidarity against Putin brings out the die hards.
I don’t much like Harper but I like what his foreign policy has been. Strong freedom, strong Israel, anti-IPCC silliness, begin to avoid importing more Islamic terrorists..it’s a start.

  3. I don’t know about Putin’s rug but the Ukraine was certainly abused as Stalin’s rug…
And what pray tell is wrong with a little independence from Russia? It’s not like the Ukraine need be a ‘captive satellite state’ in the Russian orbit.
As for Baird being there, maybe he should spring Yulia Tymoshenko …

“I, as her daughter, would like to address the democratic forces in Ukraine and in Europe and thank them for their support of my mother. I am grateful to all those who know that the truth is on her side and who continue to campaign for Ukraine’s liberation from this regime at such a difficult time,” Eugenia said.
So here we are long after Stalin and they are still playing ‘political prisoner’. Enough already, it is in all honesty ridiculous; it is time to set this prisoner free.

  4. Rizwan, right now Tim Hudak is what you’ve got, and you’ve got nothing else. Neither do you have much time. So, Ontario PCs need to think fast and think hard. Do you have a Blue Knight (or Christine of Arc) to ride in and save the day? Can you quietly but firmly get the message to Sideshow Tim to step aside? Remember, though, that even on his worst day, even Tim-bit is preferable to Wynne and Horwath.

  5. “Remember, though, that even on his worst day, even Tim-bit is preferable to Wynne and Horwath.”
What exactly do you see that tells you that?

  6. Well said Hans, on both thoughts.
During the Stalin years many Russians relocated to the Dnieper River left bank area of Ukraine and this Russian presence has given the Ukrainian people a lot of headaches as these people are continually clamoring for a closer relationship with Russia. The Dnieper River right bank Ukrainians want a closer relationship with western Europe and the EU.
I have mixed feelings as Ukraine should not become a vassal of Russia again, but joining the EU will make the country subservient to Brussels and its Marxist leadership.

  7. So what does Europe or the West have to offer?
Most of you morons are still in cold war mod thinking Russia is the boggy man. No folks its the West that is changing for the worst not Russia. As for Baird he is a clueless idiot and a lackey nothing else. I wasn’t aware that there are so many totalitarian one world government types here. Europe is run by a bunch of corrupt cronies who work for the bankers and not for the people of Europe.

What are the Ukrainian protests about? On the surface, the protests don’t make sense. The Ukrainian government made the correct decision to stay out of the EU. Ukraine’s economic interests lie with Russia, not with the EU. This is completely obvious.
The EU wants Ukraine to join so that Ukraine can be looted, like Latvia, Greece, Spain, Italy, Ireland, and Portugal. The situation is so bad in Greece, for example, that the World Health Organization reports that some Greeks are infecting themselves with HIV in order to receive the 700 euro monthly benefit for the HIV-infected.

  8. At least in the next election in Ontario we’ll be able to tell the leaders apart. I know a couple of people who confused Hudak and McGuilty. It would
also help if Tim-bit ran on a platform of conservative principles, last election he was just Liberal-lite.

  9. Yes, I agree with Ray. Hudak seems to think that the Libs and Dippers have a point, no matter how crazy their stance.

  10. OT but Tim Hudak is not the problem for Ontario. When Ontario voters realize that their ‘moral and intellectual superiors’ don’t always tell the truth about conservatives and that their own best interests and those of Ontario might be better served by letting some other entity besides unions control the province then there will be a change.

  11. Until I can find ANY policy platform or statement from Hudak on his stance regarding Agenda 21, I’ll believe him to be a Red Tory in the vein of Joe Clark.(In other words…a Liberal)
You remember Joe? He was the most valuable member of parliament that Trudeau ever had.
Hudak would be better than the two witches of Eastwick? Maybe, but we’re not sure.
I’ve specifically requested the PC party’s stance on Agenda 21, but their reply must have gotten lost in the mail.
Time for the Trillium Party, with actual conservative policies.
Were’s Harris when you need him?

  12. Ha ha. Can you see Kerry doing this?
No, I didn’t think so. And Putin will continue to spank O’bumbles as a result.

  13. Rizwan, right now Tim Hudak is what you’ve got, and you’ve got nothing else.
So IOW Ontario’s got nothing. Nobody to vote for. Actually, they do have the Freedom Party of Ontario. Other than that, no reason to vote.
Europe is run by a bunch of corrupt cronies who work for the bankers and not for the people of Europe.
So is Russia, except Russia is a completely broken POS and a hundred times worse. Nobody’s economic interests lie with the burnt out cinder that is Russia.

  14. To paraphrase our gracious hostess, “When the EU-lovers show up to protest the Russophiles, you’re supposed to pray for an asteroid strike, not pick a favourite.”
    IMNSHO, of course.
