Both. The effort to tax absolutely nothing is criminal but the acceptance of this scam by brainwashed sheeple shows stupidity not seen before in the annals of modern history. Obama himself believes CO2 is a pollutant and the UN is laughing all the way to the bank. People are investing their life savings in carbon trading….nothing….and the stock markets get a commission on trading nothing. At immense cost we try to sequester nothing and hope that nothing will ever escape. Not since the Dutch Tulip mania have we seen such stupidity. Calling these carbon snake oil salesmen criminal is being much too kind.

Speaking of nonsense has anyone ever looked at the world population numbers trotted out by the UN and its acolytes and asked the question how can it be?
Let’s wander around the rabbit warren a bit shall we. Europe is in near catastrophic population decline amongst native Europeans. Ditto North America, South America and northern Asia. China has had a ‘one child’ policy for years to the point where they are having difficulty supporting the aged with fewer youth to replace them. Africa has a high mortality rate which leaves the middle east and south Asia to cause this stupendous growth. That being the case I suspect the population numbers are more of mathematical projection than a hard number brought about by census.
Similarly the PPM of CO2. That can not be a real number. You can’t get an accurate measurement of the entire atmosphere and the concentrations of CO2 therein. Therefore you wind up with a mathematical projection which is only as valid as the guy putting in the numbers.
