  1. Please! Spare us another rising US political demigod trying to replace Bachman, Palin et al.
Don’t bother flaming me; I am a fiscal conservative and a moderate social conservative. I support PMSH although he continues to worry me but I trust he will slide back to the right before the next election. In succession I have been PC, Reform, Alliance and Conservative so please don’t try to lump me with the so-called “progressives”.
Ted Cruz is just the latest lunatic from the hard right fringes of the GOP. He is desperately trying to display himself as more patriotic than Rand Paul but a year from now we’ll be wondering “whatever became of Ted Cruz”? With any luck he’ll be gone and I hope he takes Paul with him.

  2. Hopefully Cruz can hang in there for the allotted time allowed.
Constantly compromising with the left just leads to sinking deeper into the socialist world. Didn’t Khrushchev have a theory about that, something like two steps forward, one step back, but inevitably to the left.
I for one have seen more than enough CINOs in Canada or RINOs in the US for that matter. McCain would give away the whole crop.

  3. lulz, as if there was anything ‘fiscally conservative’ whatsoever in lolbamacare…

  4. I sorta relate to BCer’s comment.
I’ve become so cynical over that evolving 3rd world country that I’m in despair that anything positive can happen at this juncture. Concerning Paul’s earlier act and now this one, I’m basically in eye-rolling whatever land.
This is not at all fair but I find Cruz creepy looking. And Rand Paul looks too much like Oswald.
And who are they kidding, there’s no market for their wares.
