The Midnight Ride of Paul Barack Revere Obama:
One if by land, and two if by sea, and three if by air, and four if by drones . . . Or is it two if by land, and one if by sea? . . . However, there will be no deployment of Colonial ground forces. So it’s two if by ship-launched cruise missiles . . . Or is it three if by airstrikes? . . . Anyway, the British aren’t coming.
That is wicked funny!
Took me five minutes to clean the beer foam off my keyboard 🙂
I feel misplaced levity detracts from the seriousness of this man’s crimes – when he crossed the Rubicon be mimicked Caesar in releasing the military on the home land – in BO’s case this was done through joint military-Law enforcement allegiances in joint enforcement exercises, militarizing the police, DHS, and any other Fed agency he bought ammo for and mil ordnance for, not to mention deploying this enforcement on a political domestic enemy’s list that includes honest journalists, gun owners, Tea Pary members, and on and on…then there are the routine high profile mil styles unwarranted friskings and road bock check stops – Bo has most certainly “crossed the Rubicon” in more than metaphoric terms and I fail t see the humor in this advancing tyranny.
We should not be laughing at him at this stage we should be inpeaching, indicting and incarcerating him.
The more ridicule Obozo gets, the better. What seems to be coming out of this whole incident is that Obozo is a tool of Saudi interests and that would explain his previously incomprehensible veto of the Keystone pipeline as well as doing his best to prevent the US from becoming self-sufficient in oil. Also explains his bowing to his masters on a visit to Saudi Arabia. Hopefully such ridicule will get under the narcissists skin enough that he’ll do something that everyone agrees is impeachable.
Antiwar.com is a site that I only visit infrequently given that they represent a very isolationist faction of Libertarians. However, they seem to have quite a bit of material on the Syrian situation as well as links to non-state controlled media sources. The following analysis is of interest:

I agree.
Judge Jenine on FoxNews had a great rant about Obozo this evening and pulled no punches.
Loki@08:48, if you mean by “tool of Saudi interests” you mean ‘unwitting’ tool, then I’d be inclined to agree. I don’t think the collection of twits in the white house is really capable of putting together a coherent foreign policy on much of anything. They’re a collection of ivy-league lightweights who believe everything they were told in poli-sci classes and are utterly flailing when confronted by reality.
This makes them especially dangerous in the modern world, the middle east in particular. They’re a real life example of the tongue-in-cheek article posted previously on this forum regarding stupidity. Evil people, the “bandits” of the article, at least have a comprehensible and therefore in some sense predictable agenda and range of behaviors. The truly stupid, such as the crew in the white house at the moment, can launch a “stupid” attack anywhere, anytime, in any direction. Their behavior is wholly unpredicatble and irrational. They are truly dangerous in a volatile area, especially the middle east.
If the US shows no signs of throwing off the current collection of clowns (Dem party) any time soon, I seriously think Canada should start making overtures to Russia as a foreign policy and economic ally. Without a major political course correction the US, and for the same reasons the EU, are doomed.
BUT….
You must agree that his proposed ‘FORWARD’ into Syria has kept us distracted from all this Shiite-
–
1. IRS targets Obama’s enemies: The IRS targeted conservative and pro-Israel groups prior to the 2012 election. Questions are being raised about why this occurred, who ordered it, whether there was any White House involvement and whether there was an initial effort to hide who knew about the targeting and when.
2. Benghazi: This is actually three scandals in one: The failure of administration to protect the Benghazi mission; the changes made to the talking points in order to suggest the attack was motivated by an anti-Muslim video; and the refusal of the White House to say what President Obama did the night of the attack.
3. Keeping an eye on The Associated Press: The Justice Department performed a massive cull of Associated Press reporters’ phone records as part of a leak investigation.
4. Rosengate: The Justice Department suggested that Fox News reporter James Rosen is a criminal for reporting about classified information and subsequently monitored his phones and emails.
5. Potential Holder perjury I: Attorney General Eric Holder told Congress he had never been associated with “potential prosecution” of a journalist for perjury when in fact he signed the affidavit that termed Rosen a potential criminal.
6. The ATF “Fast and Furious” scheme: Federal agencies allowed weapons from U.S. gun dealers to “walk” across the border into the hands of Mexican drug dealers. The ATF summarily lost track of scores of those weapons, many of which were used in crimes, including the December 2010 killing of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.
7. Potential Holder perjury II: Holder told Congress in May 2011 that he had just recently heard about the Fast and Furious gun walking scheme when there is evidence he may have known much earlier.
8. Sebelius demands payment: HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius solicited donations from companies HHS might regulate. The money would be used to help her sign up uninsured Americans for Obamacare.
9. The Pigford scandal: An Agriculture Department effort that started as an attempt to compensate black farmers who had been discriminated against by the agency but evolved into a gravy train delivering several billion dollars in cash to thousands of additional minority and female farmers who probably didn’t face discrimination.
10. GSA gone wild: The General Services Administration in 2010 held an $823,000 training conference in Las Vegas, featuring a clown and a mind readers. Resulted in the resignation of the GSA administrator.
11. Veterans Affairs in Disney World: The agency wasted more than $6 million on two conferences in Orlando. An assistant secretary was fired.
12. Sebelius violates the Hatch Act: A U.S. special counsel determined that Sebelius violated the Hatch Act when she made “extemporaneous partisan remarks” during a speech in her official capacity last year. During the remarks, Sebelius called for the election of the Democratic candidate for governor of North Carolina.
13. Solyndra: Republicans charged the Obama Administration funded and promoted its poster boy for green energy despite warning signs the company was headed for bankruptcy. The administration also allegedly pressed Solyndra to delay layoff announcements until after the 2010 midterm elections.
14. AKA Lisa Jackson: Former EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson used the name “Richard Windsor” when corresponding by email with other government officials, drawing charges she was trying to evade scrutiny.
15. The New Black Panthers: The Justice Department was accused of using a racial double standard in failing to pursue a voter intimidation case against Black Panthers who appeared to be menacing voters at a polling place in 2008 in Philadelphia.
16. Waging war all by myself: Obama may have violated the Constitution and both the letter and the spirit of the War Powers Resolution by attacking Libya without Congressional approval.
17. Biden bullies the press: Vice President Biden’s office has repeatedly interfered with coverage, including forcing a reporter to wait in a closet, making a reporter delete photos, and editing pool reports.
18. AKPD not A-OK: The administration paid millions to the former firm of then-White House adviser David Axelrod, AKPD Message and Media, to promote passage of Obamacare. Some questioned whether the firm was hired to help pay Axelrod $2 million AKPD owed him.
19. Sestak, we’ll take care of you: Former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel used Bill Clinton as an intermediary to probe whether former Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) would accept a prominent, unpaid White House advisory position in exchange for dropping out of the 2010 primary against former Sen. Arlen Specter (D-Pa.).
20. I’ll pass my own laws: Obama has repeatedly been accused of making end runs around Congress by deciding which laws to enforce, including the decision not to deport illegal immigrants who may have been allowed to stay in the United States had Congress passed the “Dream Act.”
Switch and Bait?
I utterly agree with your assessment,DrD.
Stupid people in positions of authority are the most dangerous. Not having a clue what they’re doing — and being somewhat paranoid and defensive because, deep down, they know they’re out of their league — they can throw a switch/make a decision that is a deadly game changer without even knowing it.
Because they don’t have any idea how things got to where they are, they are helpless to chart a corrective course.
The world’s in deep trouble because of Obumble’s stumble-bum incompetence and, as Conrad Black puts it, the “astonishingly implausible claque around him.”
Obumbles will use Congress when it suits to save his own ineptitude.
“…I seriously think Canada should start making overtures to Russia as a foreign policy and economic ally.”
With the preconditions that Russia cleans up its massive political corruption, recognises fundamental rights and freedoms at least to the same extent that we do, and uses its considerable influences to promote peace instead of applying them to its quest for world hegemony.
And it’s highly unlikely this will happen any time soon. Russia may have torn down the hammer and sickle but the trappings of democracy don’t even merit window dressing status. As someone posted a few days ago – Russia continues to be a dangerous, untrustworthy, and totally unscrupulous player on the world scene.
I think Canada’s first moves should be to resurrect its commonwealth ties – especially with Australia and New Zealand. India – notwithstanding its democracy deficit and considerable social problems – also merits consideration as an investment for our future.
Britain? Doomed, I’m afraid. Doomed – a write-off.
And I’d even suggest that Canada start working on this right now – never mind waiting to see if the US can throw out the Democrat Clowns. I don’t see the will on the Republican side of the house or in the US electorate to even talk about the massive and painful things necessary to stop and reverse the sinking, let alone actually doing something.
Occam;
I couldn’t agree more. The communist International made a concerted effort to infiltrate western society way back when and the USA was aware enough during the Cold War of Soviet activity. Why isn’t the same scrutiny shown over Saudi activity
since OPEC was formed.
It is not much of a stretch to be concerned about what political action the Saudis might engage in as they have funded an international network of religious outposts who take direction from Saudi Arabia not their host countries. The USA has Sunni based Islamic temples across the country. It appears that Sunni Islam generates the radical terrorists who attack around the world. People might remember when forces were routing Bin Laden (Saudi) out of Afganistan the Iranians were helping behind the scenes.
Just as it is in Canada’s self interest to have ME oil supply disrupted or even shutdown it is also in Saudi Arabia’s interest to see Canada’s heavy oil development curtailed or shut down. The Saudi’s certainly have the money and influence in the USA to see that happen. I suspect Saudi money has found influence at the highest level of USA government. Whether it greed or religion it makes no difference as the objective is the same. The Saud family has always retained power by funding the worst aspects of Islam’s desire for world dominance. The loss of political power the Saud’s would experience if oil revenue dropped equates to a collapse in Saudi Arabia. I doubt there are any limits they would stop at.
What does CSIS know about Saudi activity in Canada and the USA? What terrorist activity has Shia Islam conducted? None. To my knowledge 9/11 and Boston were Sunni Islamists. The 3 major plots that CSIS squashed (Remember the plot to attack Parliament and behead PMSH) in Canada were all Sunni efforts. IMO Canadians and Americans had better start asking questions. #1 question is how much Obama is influenced by Saudi Arabia based Islam.
That is quite a list. You did a great job of collecting and or record keeping. But, I expect the MSM will let him get away with all these transgressions.
Even Jimmah Carter looks good now.
“…Even Jimmah Carter looks good now.”
Yup. Stupid, incompetent but honest trumps ‘bama.
‘bama is beyond a joke. He makes Canada’s toad – MacKenzie King – seem principled and decisive.
Obama is The classic post turtle. He didn’t get there by himself and he doesn’t have a clue of what to do now he is there. That being the case as many of us suspected he is a puppet. Who is the puppeteer? If you look at his ‘advisers’ you see two groups. Rabid leftists and radical Islamists. It would seem that both of them benefited by having this turtle on this post. Radical leftists achieved their holy grail of socialized medicine and now the Islamists are taking their turn by destroying the nation states of the Middle East with the intent, one can only assume, of re-establishing the Caliphate in the short term and imposing Islam throughout the world long term.
“The classic post turtle” fits Obama perfectly. We better not get too cocky here though, the Liberals are trying to foist a post turtle in this country, his name is Trudeau, it’s all he’s got is the name. By any other name he and we would be a laughing stock around the globe if ever he became Prime Minister.
I shudder to imagine what he would do about the Syrian issue.
Yeah well, MacKenzie King was not too big a problem…..nor was St. Laurent…..C.D. Howe was a very experienced, competent, elected, puppeteer.
Valarie Jarrett, by comparison, is an inexperienced, unelected incompetent. The blind leading the blind.
Jamie, I said “foreign policy and economic ally”. I never said we had to like them.
But I take your point about trying to reconstitute the anglosphere/commonwealth. The state Britain’s in right now, it might be time for Canada and Australia +/- India? to start asserting some collective diplomatic leadership. After all, if the adults are drunk in the gutter with no sign of coming round for some time . . .
My point about Russia still stands though. The fact is, planet earth is still a dangerous neighborhood and it’s better to have established communication and possibly some common interests with at least one of the neighborhood toughs, one that’s sober enough so that their evil-eyed look still carries a bit of cachet.
Yep. Like I said before, Obama wanted his Reichstag fire, now he has one.
Yup, point taken DrD. You didn’t say we had to like the bastards.
I just feel that Russia should undergo a major makeover before Canada would consider any kind of an alliance or alignment. You’re known by the company you keep.
Russia remains very much the same sociopathic state that it was under Lenin, Stalin, Andropov et al – it has not changed. It would still sit idly by on the river bank and let the modern-day equivalent of Nazis liquidate Warsaw citizens; it would still go back on its word about allowing democratic elections in a post-war Poland; it wouldn’t, for one second, hesitate to undermine stable, peaceful regimes if it thought doing so would advance its cause.
DrD, the problem when one is dealing with the group of incompetents in the WH is that there’s no way of knowing whether what one sees represents stupidity of an incredible order or whether there is some devious plan behind what is an apparent facade of stupidity. A very disturbing movie I watched was Dreams from my real father which was sent out to millions of people before the 2012 US election. Perhaps the producers of this movie greatly overestimated Obozo’s intelligence, but it’s clear that he’s associated with an exceedingly destructive ideology diametrically opposed to American ideals.
Hopefully there’s some reporters out there willing to start digging into Saudi financing of US politicians. This didn’t start with Obozo and there’s the curious incident of Bush flying home the Bin Laden family after 11/9/2001 when all commercial flights had been suspended. Saudi Arabia sees Iran as its principle enemy and, had US policy been driven by geopolitical considerations, having US troops in both Afghanistan and Iraq would have setup the US for an easy invasion of Iran. I suspect that huge amounts of Saudi money have gone into the pockets of US politicians. Most recently, there was the attempt to buy off Putin by the Saudi’s with military equipment purchases as well as the offer to ensure the Chechan’s didn’t disrupt the upcoming winter olympics. I still think it possible that the whole WTC bombing was a false flag operation designed to get legislation like the patriot act passed so that US politicians wouldn’t be hamstrung by such irritating documents like the constitution.
What worries me is that the Russians will presume that there is a diabolical secret plan behind what appears to be moronic bumbling. Given the ubiquity of paranoia among those individuals who survive the fight to get to the upper levels of power in Russia, they would have a very hard time believing that a total incompetent could achieve the presidency.
Fortunately, the US population is starting to see the incompetence which potentially would result in starting a war with Russia. It’s encouraging that US congressmen are being flooded with messages telling them to vote no for Obozo’s folly which seems to have no purpose other than saving face given his reckless drawing of a red line. Most likely the sarin gas attack was a false flag operation designed to draw the US into a war that the rebels are losing. It would be interesting to see whether Obozo’s “red line” comment could be viewed as making him responsible for the sarin gas attack by the rebels who assumed that cruise missiles would rain down upon Syrian government installations once all the fauxtographic evidence was in the hands of the WH.
The only option I can see at this point is impeachment as the US is not going to have any international reputation left after this incident. What has also become apparent is that the Dumbocrats and RINO’s are totally out of touch with the US people and the results of the 2014 midterm elections will be very interesting as I suspect that the electorate won’t be kind to those politicians who were ready to start WWIII to save the reputation of a president which is beyond saving.
Agree that Canada should be having stronger ties with Russia as right now Putin seems to be the only sane leader around. Canada and Russia have a huge arctic border in common and good relations now would prevent incidents from escalating as the Russians move to drill for oil in the arctic ocean. Unfortunately, PMSH seems to be backing the losing side right now and it would have been far better for him to have sided with Putin. At least with the Russians one knows what one is dealing with.
Not to worry Baird and Moore will straighten things out.
Cozy up with the Ruskies? Their resources compete with us all over the world. They encroach on our Artic on a daily basis. We have to partner with the Chicoms. At least we can pick them out of a crowd.
“What terrorist activity has Shia Islam conducted? None.”

The United States State Department describes Iran as an “active state sponsor of terrorism.”[2] US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice elaborated stating, “Iran has been the country that has been in many ways a kind of central banker for terrorism in important regions like Lebanon through Hezbollah in the Middle East, in the Palestinian Territories, and we have deep concerns about what Iran is doing in the south of Iraq.”[1]
