  1. Bald-assed shamelessness has a face, and a name:

“We have a long history in this country of some people exploiting differences between us for their own advantage. It’s a cynical appeal to the worst instincts in our great country.” — Al Sharpton

    He’s talking about conservatives.
Related: Nancy Pelosi says Barack Obama is the most “non-partisan” president ever to serve in White House.

  2. Wow, what a video! And I don’t doubt anything she said about Lil’ Weiner. Fact is, you could show this interview over & over & over again to NYC voters and if he was the candidate with a “D” after his name, they WOULD vote for him. It’s so sad.

  3. Just read this. It explains the incestuous world of “Progressives”, doesn’t it. I don’t believe that any of them have ANY principles. They’re just using each other to climb the political ladder.

  4. Didn’t hear anything that would make me draw that conclusion, PD, and I’m not a fan of CBC.
Why don’t we wait to hear what others have to say and see the bus security video.
Not much use in anyone jumping to conclusions so quickly.
Although I will say, my father’s cousin (from Sask.) who fought with the Regina Rifles said he took out the Germans with a shot to the knee. They weren’t going anywhere until a medic arrived. If he was such a good shot, why did a Toronto police officer with the kind of weapons training he had have to empty his gun on a teenager who was not shooting back?

  5. I agree. I’ve got no use for knife wielding punks but also no use for the politically correct makeup of the modern police force. 9 shots and then a tazer ? Good grief. What a collection of weenies. I do like the fact that this is one punk who won’t cost the system or public any more worry but that could have been done with one shot. What was the rush ? They could easily have waited him out since he was alone on the bus. Sure not your parents police force anymore.

  6. The CBC is hell bent on making the cops look like the bad guys. Posted by: Plainzdrifter
In this case they are correct. If any of us shot and killed someone who was only brandishing a small knife 10 ft away, then we would be charged with murder.

  7. “But you could also do this at home, if you found someone there in cardiac arrest. Call an ambulance, administer CPR and place a bag of frozen peas or other frozen vegetables on the patient. It helps to protect the brain.”
Hot damn……surprised I never thought of this.

The fringe benefits of being a first responder could mean a endless supply of frozen vegetables.

  8. Laughable article from renowned Harper hater Frances Russell

She means the ancient Greeks of course, not the current Greeks, whom she thinks we should emulate too apparently. This is as silly as using nonsensical statistics to “calculate” the “cost” of carbon, then reverse it all, deny carbon, and its exponential contribution to modern economies, and call it a “benefit.”

Quite laughable indeed if not so tragic for the 3rd world with the plutocrats denying them wealth and just controlling them. The US is using a similar approach to secure a dependent constituency with permanent votes, while making them poorer, such as the black vote in the US.

  9. “Viral Melting North Pole Photos Not Proof of Global Warming, Scientists Say”
“Recently, concerns were raised over the supposed melting North Pole after webcam photos captured an ice-covered image in late April and a less-frosty, lake-looking photo in late July, in an article originally published by The Atlantic.
The webcam, monitored by the North Pole Environmental Observatory, has been in place since the spring of 2000 and captures the constant fluctuation of ice coverage.
But as the images spread across the internet and social media, claims of global warming emerged with it.”

“Commodity supercycle in rude health despite shale”
“The Oil Drum is closing down after eight years, giving up the long struggle to alert us all to “peak oil” and the dangers of an energy crunch. Readers have been drifting away. The theme has gone out of fashion, eclipsed by shale and fracking in the US.”

  11. Leftists want to boycott Russian vodka because of gay rights. Just Google “Boycott Russian vodka”. Notice they don’t want to boycott Saudi Arabian oil because of gay rights, and they don’t want Canada’s oil — oh, that evil Keystone XL Pipeline — even though Canada is a very gay-friendly country.
As Kathy Shaidle sometimes says, we need a leftist decoder ring.
