  3. Government stopped working for the people a long time ago. They work for themselves, they work for their agendas, they work for their friends and the last consideration, if it is considered at all is you and me.
    If there is a greater argument for small c conservatism I haven’t seen it.
    Kudos to the Congressman.

  6. It’s just amazing how, with all three scandals, nobody new anything and don’t even remember if they did. I thought the executive was supposed to be responsible.

  7. I enjoyed that joke Robert. In the Obama admin, the only person responsible is the one you can throw under the bus and bury alive in scandals.

Believe me folks this is political theater – to make us believe congress and US constitutional ethic is functional – it isn’t, the evidence is everywhere and federal agency abuse is long term and habitual – the IRS (ATF, FDC and other bully agencies) has been doing this crap for years, and there were rumblings in congress but things go on unchanged – because big government statism NEEDS a ruthless remorseless threatening tax collector or regulation enforcer to shake down the citizenry to pay for all the criminal waste and decadence of big government.
    It’s a show for chumps. A few underlings get thrown to the wolves for a limited tongue lashing then in time they land unharmed with their gold parachute. Obama ain’t going down over this, the IRS will remain intact and tax reform, constiutional revenue collection and constitutionally confined government remain the pipe dream of the handful of patriots left in congress.

    Obama’s always been clear to define the First Amendment in terms of freedom of *worship* and not free expression of religion. Worship defines, narrowly, the act that typically takes place on Sunday mornings — in the confines of a church or one’s home. Free expression of religion is more encompassing to include facets of one’s life like, say, a business that doesn’t want to pay for its employees birth control because they believe it immoral.
    Prayers related to a 501(c)(3) would surely not be covered under that “freedom of worship” definition of the First Amendment.

    If you are working in the IRS, and you are an NTEU member, and you know your union leadership is funneling your union dues to anti-Tea Party candidates, and your union has so much raw power within the IRS that they even control whether you, an IRS employee, can get even such mundane tech gear as a Blackberry — what attitude are you going to display as you review Tea Party applications that must, by law, come in to the IRS for approval?
    You already know what to do. And inside the IRS, that’s exactly what was done. The Tea Party, in the vernacular, was screwed. By IRS bureaucrats whose union money is being used to attack the Tea Party. Of course these IRS employees know what to do — most probably without even being asked. There is no need to ask. And if they don’t follow the union program — and want a Blackberry — tough luck.
    You know what terrifies every liberal in America right now? You want to know the real reason President Obama abruptly felt the need to go on national television last night and fire the Acting Commissioner of the IRS last night as Americans were having their dinner?

    The distinct possibility that the IRS and the whole confection of Big Government liberalism built around the federal taxing power is about to implode in scandal.
    Big scandal. The kind of scandal that will make Watergate look like a piker.
    And the irony?
    That in seeking to destroy the credibility of the Tea Party, the Obama administration and its allies have destroyed not just the credibility of the IRS and one very seriously powerful union.
    They have destroyed their own credibility.
    This IRS fiasco isn’t just a scandal.
    Under the Hatch Act, it’s criminal.

  15. Miller is at the end of his term as of June. The resignation is for show.
    There is a paper trail and there are already a list of names involved in the orders to target groups that pose a threat to the Democrats.
    All it takes is the will to pursue the matter.

    legally and politically this is the one that can damage, but that ain’t the worst for Obumbles, it’s that the IRS effect just about every one personally that is the most damaging, even DemoCRAPS are starting to get scared, and that does not bear well for GodObumbles!!!
