  1. Anyone who owns a duck gun or a deer rifle who has been trying to hold on to in spite of massive persecution/abuse by politicians, police and media, knows that the MSM have been the epicenter of the anti-gun hysteria which propels the state oppression of civilian disarmament.
AFAIC, the media is as guilty of this polarizing injustice as the UN-aligned gun-phobic NGOs pushing the civilian disarmament agenda. These fools don;t seem to realize that repressing innocent people on the demented notion that they are all potential mass murderers, will ultimately result in state sponsored tyranny.
But I suppose it’s giving the left media too much credit to assume they have the capacity for deep thought or empathy.

  2. Perhaps the American gun owners,unlike us,realize that to give the anti-gun thugs a millimeter of leeway,would be disasterous.Witness D.C.,Mass,our own lovely,commie gun control,gay marriage,etc. Fight these anti-humans to the end.Go NRA.

  3. Heartwarming. I guess they didn’t pay people to show up, like they usually do for these ‘grassroots leftist’ causes.
Note, there were more media there for this non-event than were covering the Gosnell mass murder trial. Sad.

  4. State sponsored tyranny is a feature, not a bug, to the UN. Government minions are all about the growth of government. Judged by results, the UN is an unprincipled High School debate club.

  5. Looks like the same number of people that would show up to support the Redford government in introducing a Provincial Sales Tax … that is why they will introduce it.

  6. Yes, the Mainstream Media is the big push for civilian disarmament.
They are largely against hunting and rabidly against civilians being able to effectively defend themselves against criminal violence.
They distort news coverage to suppress instances of civilians using firearms to defend themselves from both animal and human predators.
As firearms owners and those who support firearms ownership are largely unorganized and passive, the federal governments civilian disarmament program continues unabated.
The Canadian government has records of over 340,000 citizens whose Firearms Possession Licence has expired.
The amnesties run out in mid May, but police raids have already started to confiscate(armed robbery) the firearms of these people. The police know are not violent criminals but the law labels them a scapegoat for those who are. So, they are being sacrificed on the alter of political correctness.
The government and police are trying to keep it quiet.
The federal Harper Conservatives are much less firearm owner friendly than is commonly believed.

  7. Larry “The federal Harper Conservatives are much less firearm owner friendly than is commonly believed.”
I never again voted for the Progressive Conservatives when Kim Campbell, as justice minister, extended gun control. I consider it the job of a conservative government to reverse a degree of Liberal BS when in power. That was about the time I couldn’t renew my FAC because I hadn’t had a firearms course. Taking courses in the military and periodically serving as a range officer apparently didn’t count.
Harper has thrown a few crumbs to conservatives but I’m not sure whether I trust him not to throw me under the bus for re-election sake.

  8. I think, its hysterically funny they couldn’t get even a 100 protesters in DC, hell you could get at least that many, to scream and bawl about the value of pi in that town, I think you could get Sheila Jackson Lee, to support the pi one…

  9. “Joe/Marist poll.”
Is there a letter “X” missing from the word to the right of the slash?

  10. What gives?? The FBI says that more guns do not equal more crime? Surely that cannot be true, but the facts don’t lie.

As for the Sandy Hook tragedy, how long do you think it would take before any GC program, such as background checks, or outright ban, would make enough of a difference to protect the next school from a similar occurrence?
Enhanced security is the only option; yet even after the murders, the Sandy Hook officials had to have it forced on them by the Newton School-board.
