Reader Tips

Hark, what cowbell through yonder computer speaker honks? Why, it’s that of Charlie Watts, announcing to the world that Mick’s about to launch into Honky Tonk Woman.
Verily, the comments are open, as always, for your Reader Tips.

  1. Straight talk from The Nuge:

Imagine if this jihadist punk had basically committed the same crimes 150 years ago. He would have been swinging from an oak tree in Boston Common no longer than 60 days from the date of his arrest. That would be justice.
But that won’t happen to this guilty….

    The elided….ventilation here.

  2. Great song, always makes me smile.
    Anyways,
    A couple of nights ago,I was wandering the pages of CBC and submitted this for posting;
” I’m surprised that the media hasn’t jumped all over the connection between PM Harper’s brother and the Iranian gov’t.”
That is likely total BS,I don’t know if either of his brothers deal with the Iranian gov’t. The CBC posted it.
    The next morning I submitted;
” I’m surprised that the media hasn’t jumped all over the connection between Trudeau’s brother and the Iranian gov’t.”
    Now,that is factual.
The CBC rejected it. FIRE.THEM. ALL.
Canadians are being led down the garden path by many. I hate having to pay for it. FIRE.THEM.ALL.

  3. The US government is literally recruiting people into government dependence. They actually pay “recruiters” whose job is to get people onto food stamps. They even have a quota.

  4. Escapee from Psychotic institution attacks a Rabbi near a synagogue, slicing his throat with box cutters, while screaming “Allahu Ackbar”.
Authorities are searching for a motive.
    Can’t make this stuff up.

Thanks for posting your unpublished CBC comment. I do that all the time. I`ve also contacted CBC Toronto to complain, however they don`t care as long as the Liberals are getting free publicity.

  6. I re-read The Big Sleep. Tried really hard to follow the plot this time, and it almost worked. Wait, no it didn’t.

I can just about follow the plot of Jaws. On a good day.
Anyway, here’s a nice quote: “I read all three morning papers over my eggs and bacon the next morning. Their accounts of the affair came as close to the truth as newspaper stories usually come – as close as Mars is to Saturn.”

  7. Headline at the Globe and Mail this morning:
Criminal Code ‘not a holy book,’ terror plot suspect says in rejecting charges
That’s the problem in a nutshell. Killing the infidel isn’t a crime in his book(s), so Canadians can go to hell — while he goes to heaven with 72 virgins.
What don’t our “leaders” get about this? Deport him and all the other non-Canadian jihadists living in Canada and sucking us dry. They’ll never live within our laws. They and their holy book are a law unto themselves and law-abiding, non-Muslim Canadians are their target. Their prey pays their way.
    Enough is enough.

From the House Committee letter to Obama:
Finally, we ask that all documents and communications previously provided for in camera review be immediately turned over to our Committees. Access to this information cannot be dictated by the political interests of the Executive Branch. Each of our Committees has a duty to determine responsibility for the decisions to endanger Americans and to mislead the American people following this deadly attack against our country.

“This month’s miserable cold will carry a footnote as it leaves: record-setting.
In a what has been a colder-than-normal spring, the last half of April has been especially frigid.
In about the past week, 3,318 daily records have been set or matched across the United States for either the coldest night or the coldest day.”

  10. A Toronto Radio Station Q107 is mocking this “official” Regina video posted by The Tourist Board of Saskatchewan: Experience Regina. Production quality is terrible, song is horrendous and if you watch to the end around 2:28 there is a quick flash of what looks like a uterus with a red X in the middle.

If it is real, it is good to see that your tax dollars were being were being well spent back in 2008.

  11. 13/13 Of course the “most scientists” question about Gerbil Worming had to be given the politically-correct answer, not the truth. They can’t handle the truth.

  12. A new problem for the Liberals: How to keep Justin busy. I was appalled to discover that he is out campaigning this week for the woman in Labrador — who is already 40 points ahead. Why would they send a new leader there for close to a week? Shouldn’t Justin be in Ottawa learning the ropes? Clearly he is being kept out of the public eye — at least nationally, and clearly he is not actually “leading” at this point — should he not be involved in planning party strategies and developing policies? Problem — what to do with him next week?

And JT needs to be associated with a “sucess”.
Wants to ride her coattails so to speak.”Bask in her limelight”, “share her spotlight”, “waft in her glitter” and other theatrical cliches you can dream up.

  15. Black Mamba @ 3:26 a.m.:
Some of the comments from your linked article:
“SPLC is itself a hate group; fomenting hatred and violence where there were none”
“The Unabomber picked targets from an EarthFirst list. Now we learn Corkins picked his target from the SPLC. You’d think the MSM would be on this like they were on Palin after the Gabby Giffords shooting. Of course, we won’t hear a thing.”
“Well, I’m sure all those liberals who were so quick to blame the Tea Party for the Boston Bombing will be along any moment to blame Southern Poverty Law for what Corkins has done. Any moment now… any moment now…”
