    QUETTA, Pakistan (Reuters) – Unknown attackers have kidnapped two Czech women travelling in western Pakistan, officials of both countries said on Thursday.
    The Czech Foreign Ministry said the two tourists – believed to be in their mid-twenties – were kidnapped on Wednesday after a van they were travelling in was stopped by assailants on the way from the border with Iran..

  11. EBD, a line from your tip, “the personal is political and the political is personal”, reminds me of a line from the movie about Pasternak’s Dr. Zhivago. The Socialist Revolutionary Strelnikov, a teacher in his civilian life, has become a Red Army commander in an armoured train. Dr. Zhivago meets him on the train at one point and asks Strelnikov about his wife and child. Strelnikov says something like, “The personal life is dead, only the revolution matters.”
    It is interesting that the same mentality is prevalent among the radical left in North America today. It appears that we are losing the fight and thee revolutionaries have taken over while we slept..
