5. Detroit has 1 simple obvious problem that socialist bureaucrats seem to be in denial of – too many unemployed people, not enough work = more welfare spending than revenue input.

   Once again we see how the socialist ideology would reject truth/reality to avoid addressing issues they have no answers for. No collectivist can “make” jobs so they pursue other abstract avenues.

6. In 1955 years I lived into 4 miles north of Detroit. After the riot ~ Good for the math: 713,000 Detroit people but public sector (unions) for $14 billion long-term liabilities and annual = $19,635,344 (for about $19.6 Millions) for EACH person in Detroit. It’s about 43 squares miles is homes and company most dumped shrank the decade.

In a recent report, the analyst highlighted a number of examples of gross inefficiencies, in particular the fact that the Detroit water department still employed a blacksmith. He was receiving a salary of about $26K, with benefits costed out at about $27K, annually.
   The writer of the report pointed out that the water department had not used horses for about 50 years, so why still employ a blacksmith?
   The response from the leader of the civic union was that no jobs would be lost, under any circumstances. Ever.
   This is a case of a city self-destructing because of union intransigence. They have lost half their population, the city has become nothing more than a gang ridden ghetto who seem to be intent on killing each other (try to find a white person in downtown Detroit after 5 pm)
   Detroit is now akin to some of those Hollywood movies that focus on anarchy in cities. But hey, Detroit elected Obama…he’ll fix everything…

    Did the residents there not show their love, by voting 100% for the One?
    I read that 107% of Detroit voters approved of the president.
    I wonder how long the poor will take to realize that they are a commodity to their “Friendly Politicians”.
    Could be the Libertarian election slogan, Does Detroit do it for you?
