Only 36 percent of geoscientists and engineers believe that humans are creating a global warming crisis, according to a survey reported in the peer-reviewed Organization Studies. By contrast, a strong majority of the 1,077 respondents believe that nature is the primary cause of recent global warming and/or that future global warming will not be a very serious problem.
“One interesting aspect of this new survey is the unmistakably alarmist bent of the survey takers. … Accordingly, alarmists will have a hard time arguing the survey is biased or somehow connected to the ‘vast right-wing climate denial machine.’”

Amazing how all the scientists whose careers depend on getting results see through the global warming hoax easily. Tenured professors need never fear being held to account for incompetence, much less criminal negligence. About the only way they can be fired is for their entire department or university to go out of business.
Very well. Fire them all and start accepting applications for non-tenured positions (contracts not to last longer than three years) to fill the posts of those professors who can’t be easily replaced by a private Youtube channel (or visiting lecturers making minimum wage). Make clear that nobody who profited in any way from the global warming scam need apply.

I think that the one thing that annoys non-political, non-religious skeptics the most is this insistence that there is only two possible climate science positions – angelic believer or denier devil. You must not only unquestioning believe in the sacred models and apocalyptic doom but also conform to the prescribed salvation : bigger government, more taxes and a lower standard of living. Any deviations from this path is apparently proof of scientific ignorance and hatred of future generations. It should not be surprising that scientists outside of the cult have not fully embraced this when the models have proven inaccurate. Maybe if the climate scientists could part a sea or something.
And this will never see the light of day in the MSM,unlike the eco-cultists “97%” consensus,based on 77 “scientists. Imprison them all.

The survey is a survey of members of APEGA i.e. Alberta’s professional engineers, geologists, geophysicists etc., so you can bet the alarmists will claim they’re all biased, (as if alarmists don’t have their mitts buried elbow-deep into the available money).
But it demonstrates in microcosm that this so called “consensus” is nothing more than a verbal bullying tactic by alarmists who’ll do anything to avoid arguing the actual scientific basis, or utter lack thereof, of their position. Even within the IPCC, the so called “consensus” is more bureaucratic legerdemain than a reflection of the actual controversies and dissent that exists among the actual scientists reviewing the papers on which the IPCC hangs its hat.
Still if one reads, “Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds” particularly the section on alchemy, one gets a sense of how zealously followers of a particular pseudo-scientific cult can cling to their beliefs despite showing no credible results. No matter how many times their computer models fall flat, no matter how many times their “peer reviewed” pearls of wisdom turn out to be the ravings of some eco-loon, no matter how enormous the individual carbon footprints of their inspired leaders, no matter how many times doomsday gets put off into some unverifiable future, the alarmist cultists will cling to their mystical fantasy. In the good old days adverse events were ascribed to witchcraft. Today those same events are ascribed to “global warming”. Plus ca change . . .

And that is exactly why the first time I heard some jackass blather about apocalyptic climate change I knew it was BS.
Back in the 70s the CBC was going on about the “impending ice age” …. until the great Peter Gzowski (God bless his soul) interviewed a real scientist who made it clear that:
1- The geological history of the Earth has nothing to do with mankind.
2- The climatic aspects of the geological history of the earth are a series of extreme fluctuations with few periods of stability. IOW change is the constant.
3- On the matter of human influence on the Earth and Climate … miniscule to the point of irrelevance.
4- On the matter of predicting outcomes from trends less than millenia in duration … a joke.
5- On the matter of climate change in our time …. the last couple of millenia have been the most stable in all of the geological life of this world.
6- On the matter of these types of reports being publicized in the media … it’s because the stories get attention without any effort on the part of the reporters.
7- On the matter people allowing these types of reports to influence their lives … chicken littles

Taylor is currently being laughed off the internet for his sad attempt at misdirection, but hey… clearly there are some suckers without a critical bone in their bodies who will drink his pee if he tells them its Koolaid.
