Because of all the turmoil caused by dissident First Nations Bands in Canada, a number of the regular crowd at Tim Hortons Franchise at Norwich Avenue at Juliana Drive in Woodstock yesterday formulated a bare bones plan to help solve the First Nations grievances.
Like most Canadians who want a better life for First Nations members, a Tim Hortons’patron presented via email to Prime Minister Harper as well as MP Dave MacKenzie a bare bones plan that would elevate the First Nations Assembly to respect in Canada, as opposed to the current disrepute, which the asshole pick-up truck cigarette vendors and dissidents are currently highlighting.
I suspect that any person emailing the PM and MP Dave MacKenzie had also made that email available to Kate McMillan the Small Dead Animals blog editor, because of the worlwide readership coverage of the SDA Blog.
I also believ Kate McMillan would not reveal any inside information she may have read, but simply wait until the Prime Minister acts on the Woodstock Tim Hortons patrons’ plan.
Time will tell whether the Prime Minister has the balls to implement the plan.

Hey there – I tend to agree with much of what is said on this blog and would like some thoughts/insight. I tend to see PMSH as a reasonable person, not the villain the Toronto based insurgency makes him out to be, so there must be a good reason why he did not follow through with the Kelowna Accord a few years back. I must plead some ignorance regarding that agreement so am looking for some reasons why this was not honoured? In various online comments, this Accord seems to be cropping up as one of the reasons why some of the natives are restless….

Well Scott, I do not pretend to be all that knowledgeable about the Kelowna Accord except to say that the Liberals and NDP were very upset with PM Harper for not following through on the Accord, as no doubt native supporters of these two parties. Basically the Accord called for more and bigger cheques rather than actually solving the problems that cause most of the native poverty. Parts of Bill C-45 begin to address these problems.
So no wonder the usual suspects are up in arms about this – not so much concern for average Joe Indian, just big juicy checks with no accountability?
Sidenote – been reading into some of the history of treaty negotiations. It appears that there has been some dishonest brokering on both sides throughout. The question remains – how do the problems of today that are very real ACTUALLY get solved?
Methinks that some of these characters couldn’t care less…
