I pointed out before I was so rudely monitored — just kidding! — that Piers Morgan uses the oldest trick in the book to deflect his ideological, aka Rightist, enemies:
Just when things aren’t going his way, he interjects, “Let me just ask you this …” and asks a completely irrelevant question, usually about Britain’s low incidence of gun violence, while completely ignoring the fact that Britain has one of the, if not the, highest rates of violence in the EU.
Indeed.
This tragedy is a boon to Morgan’s dismal ratings and weak personality. His “how dare you?” outburst has to be one of the most disingenuous things I’ve seen from a “journalist”. I thought Ben Shapiro held his own. That might not matter much to a dyed-in-the-wool/knee-jerk leftist but to every other thinking, feeling human being, it was refreshing to hear some clear-headed commentary.
