  1. Kindergarten kids and a 24 year old dad. They will blame the guns but not mention teenage dad (at the time of birth). Not much I can say other than there one hell of a lot of sick people in the world.

    Compare this massacre with these other massacres:
    Hungerford 1987 17 dead
    Dunblane 1996 (elem.school) 18 dead (16 children)
    Cumbria 13 dead
    What’s the difference between today’s slaughter and those 3 that I just listed? All of those three I just listed took place in Great Britain. Does anyone believe that the British don’t have strict gun control laws?

  10. It’s not just America. Norway, Britain, Canada, Australia, Germany, Finland, they have all suffered mass killing sprees. The big difference is there are more than three hundred million Americans, and only thirty million Canadians. Just on ratios we’d expect 10 to 1 US to Canada. I’m sure there are other factors and maybe the US is more prone to this, but it’s not just an American problem.

  14. As much as I hate speculating what would drive a person to do this heinous act, a growing list of SSRI stories (http://www.ssristories.com/index.php) are out there.
    As a parent of two young elementary kids, I cannot imagine the grief of the town and state. I just hope that the MSM does not create another infamous shooter, causing future nut-bar killers to act.

It is the left that wants divorce to be the norm in society, and marriage to something abnormal. It is the left that wants all paperwork in the government to refer to “Spouse1” and “Spouse2”.   29. It seems to be confirmed that the shooter was an adult child of one of the teachers. He also shot and killed his mother at the family home. This looks like another case mental illness. Only the mentally ill could do this to innocent and defenseless kindergartners.
    Using this as a reason for gun control is as stupid as using it bash drug legalization, humanism, atheism, electronic entertainment or whatever other bug is up your arse.

  30. NDP, banning guns won’t stop mentally ill killers. The largest mass murders in US history were done by arson. Remove guns as a tool for murder and the potential murderer will find another tool. What i’d like to know is why security at the school failed so miserably.

Even though these teachers were most likely worthless indoctrinators rather than legitimate educators is irrelevant. they did not deserve to be gunned down in cold blood.     Most recent info from CNN (grain of salt, etc) I saw was that he shot and killed his mother (a teacher) in the *classroom*, before shooting anyone else in there.
    However there is also a report of a body at a Connecticut home that might be connected to the killings.

  44. No, pleasantview, the best-fit correlation is with undiagnosed, untreated mental illness not progressive or conservative ideology. If any connection with political ideology can be made at all it is that the mentally ill are no longer forcibly confined to institutions. The facts in this case are of course still unknown.

    Now GTA is produced by Rockstar Games, and RG is owned by Take-Two Interactive. Now who is the CEO of TTI? He is Strauss Zelnic.
    Who did Zelnic throw his money behind in the 2008 election? You guessed it, Obama and the Democrats. Indeed Zelnic has given tens of thousands to Democrats over the years.
    You will find this pattern repeats itself again and again. I’m telling you folks, you don’t have to dig hard to see that all the sewage floating around today is coming from liberal cesspools.

  50. I agree with many posters above. My first thought upon hearing about this was the west has succumbed to liberalism. You kick God out and this stuff happens. Blame hollywood, and the left for this one. They wanted this world, now they have it. My prayers are for the parents of the small children.
