  2. I believe the Obama cabal had a team of super nerds rigging electronic ballot systems. There is no other way to explain how out of the 28 returning districts in Cleavland that Romney did not recieve a single vote. There are other indiations but personally I beleive everywhere tech is used in the balloting process it was hacked by Obama degenerates.

  3. Cap, you may not agree with their looks or their politics, but these are some seriously talented individuals with blockbuster skills. I’m a good enough technician to be aware of how much higher a level these fellows operate at than I do.

  4. Occam, 100% correct. When the impossible happens, it wasn’t by accident. The election was rigged, not that it mattered much because so were the Republican primaries.
    No matter who won, the same outcome will occur – deflationary depression on a far larger scale than the ’30s.

  7. Sean, that’s what scares me is how so many intelligent people can believe in what Obama is selling.
    I suspect the GOP lost some of the same edge and innovation by pissing off the libertarians that made up a lot of the grass roots energy.

  9. The difference between the election and a football game is:
    There are referees watching every move on the field, and if you try to cheat they will stop the play, void the results of said play, and penalize the offender.
    They also record the plays, and if need be, they can and will watch the play over and over until they decide the legality.
    The election had nobody watching. The ones who were supposed to watch, looked somewhere else.
    ………..or were forcibly removed from their posts.

    So, will the GOP respond by using weapons that will defeat these guys,or continue to try to convince voters that THEY are the good guys,on the high moral ground, and should be in charge?
    This last battle saw bows and arrows against cruise missiles and smart bombs. The B & A guys lost.

    It may come as a surprise to some of the regulars here, but not everyone is completely hung up on the ‘hotness quotient’ of one’s mate. Sure, it helps, but you’d better have something else that attracts you to your spouse because looks WILL fade over time.
    A bit disappointed in the ad hominem invective from those on my side of the political spectrum. I expect that from lefties, but I thought we were the intelligent ones?

  22. I don’t think it’s just the looks that decide attraction. These guys are severely over weight and look very unhealthy. They probably can’t wash themselves properly and I doubt any of them are a “demon in the sack”. My guess is that money would be the only thing attractive about them.

Sean.. 🙂 I have, in moments of personal clarity at family gatherings, asked my parents if my aged 40 ish sisters are ever going to learn to cook and sew before their appearances really start to slide. Some present thought I said too much, so I repeated it. Mom said “that’s not nice”. I reminded her of the time I was punched out in The Bay / Regina because I was wearing a torn jean jacket, nobody in our house knew how to sew. My lone sister that can actually repair broken junk laughed. The sisters that work for the government (Revenue Canada) can scarcely open a can of soup, (that’s not a joke.).
    My kids are well on the way to being self reliant, and would completely agree with marrying someone for talent / competence over “hotness”.

    Gotta agree with Sean about the whole “hotness quotient” thing, and the sort of ad hominum/ad feminam invective that seems built into it, but then, I don’t like the “manosphere” blogs either.

    Easy Sean, it’s not like you’re getting swarmed there big fellah. I agree with FKA Gord, there is a difference between nerds and just your standard slob. You can’t have much self esteem when you let yourself go like that. And what is with the hair and beard, is the length in certain proportion to the size of your stomach?

  28. EBD, what y’all got against NASCAR? Besides, the Sun News news ticker is reporting that Canadian sales of adult sex toys has been up (no pun) since the NHL has been on strike/lockout.
    Sean has the right stuff to be a good parent. You instill your children with common sense, moral compass and the right set of life skills then you can probably be safe at your daughter’s choice.

    Question is of course, would you want one or more bleached, plucked, varnished, laminated she-wolves cluttering up your ubergeek man-cave? Liable to knock over your JarJar Binks collectible action figures or get a stiletto heel stuck in the cat-5 cables.

    Geek culture is very much a meritocracy. We don’t care what you look like or what famous relatives you have or what famous people you know. Either you’ve got m4d t3ch sk1llz or you don’t. If you do … respect. Also keep in mind that a fair number of these people register significantly on the autism spectrum. So do I, incidentally, but I’ve learned to function around it. Some can’t.
    I may not always agree with someone, but I will certainly respect anyone who is good at what they do and works hard at it.
