Any of you out there in Ontario should be considering relocation. McSquinty and his gang are going to drive all the docs out of the province. Of course we in BC would be more than happy to take all your surplus. All the surgeons, anesthetists, family physicians, all of them. We have lots of room for docs here.

Of course it wouldn’t solve her problem but the weather is much nicer. From what I’ve heard and read about this woman, she seems to be providing a sound and efficient solution to a problem. Oh wait, we don’t want solutions in the health care system, we want obedience. Get donw on your knees to the beloved and holy Canada Health Act. God help all us old farts as we need more and more health care.
I was talking to a friend who told me that she paid a Vet $1,500 for fees for the care of her cat.

She used the words “Patient responsibility”. The guvament hates those words.
But her fight is with the College of Physicians…they like the status quo, and clearly their priority is not individual health and well being.

Lol…agree with your sentiments, Rick, other than the weather is much nicer here. The province extends east of Hope, and out the Okanagan’s climate bubble. -22C here last night & about 30cm of snow.
The nail that sticks up will be hammered down. Not just a Japanese proverb but now official government policy.
Soon your visits to the doctor will be accompanied by a “purely voluntary” gratuity. Off the books of course. Otherwise your doctor won’t be able to see you for at least twelve months. Very busy you know.
That’s how things got done in the Soviet Union, and it will be the way they get done here before much longer.

Where I come from, it was outhouse tipping night on Oct 31.
