(This has been held. Maybe it’s because of the link: Daily Caller. So, I’ve removed the link.)
And my left-wing, well heeled, well “educated”—“indoctrinated” is more like it—friends—for old times’ and residual affection’s sake—are salivating over Moo-chelle. (She does have lovely hands: “The more to take your money, my dear.”)
The gullibility and stupidity of the left, especially those who misuse their smarts, is altogether discouraging.
Among other non-flattering observations of Charles Krauthammer’s about the FLOTUS fairy tale, disguised as a speech: “Looking at the scene, looking at how he’s conducted himself if the presidency and particularly campaign, with ruthlessness and determination and drive it [Michelle’s fiction] is not quite a plausible story. I’m sure in the arena it was a plausible story. I saw the tears but I’m afraid, I thought it’s a great speech but I didn’t buy a line of it.”
phil.I see you’ve poked your nose in again, and are chastising someone that uses words. He at least is able to string thoughts together as opposed to yourself that just strings letters together.
There is a vast difference in meanings between “we belong to the government” and ” our government.” The government should be working for the people that democratically elected them into that position.
If it is the majority opinion, it is the result of the Boomer generation’s epic failure in raising and education their children. I’ve opined here over the years that the aforementioned generation, generally speaking, has betrayed their offspring by leaving them in the hands of the liberal loons in the public school system to be molded into good little sheeple. In fact, robbing them(kids and grandkids of the Boomers) of the very education THEY’VE been put into debt to pay for, by getting the ball rolling for the Public Sector Union’s pillaging of future generations for Public Sector Union benefits packages. Furthermore, by continually accepting pay-offs, with their own children and grandchildren’s money, by continually voting themselves perks and entitlements! Unfortunately, the selfishness of said generation thought it was more important to have two parents working, so as to pay for second vehicles and annual holidays, than to have a parent at home to raise, participate and supervise in their kid’s lives and educations. In other words, the Boomer generation paid for the baby-sitting and raising of their children with their CHILDREN’S MONEY, while pocketing the revenue from having two parents at work, and paying for every luxury you can imagine. My question is…. who the fcuk gave sanction to these folks to ‘sign on the dotted line’ of a credit card that WAS/IS NOT THEIRS? But, I digress.
All of that said, the generations that have come after have continued on this road of irresponsibility which in the end will make them no better; unless, the buck stops here, with my Generation X.
It seems the entire world must now depend on Generation X, starting with leaders like Paul Ryan, and those that come after, to clean-up the moral and the economic mess laid upon them by their parents and grandparents. After all, THEY are “entitled to their entitlements”.
Sorry for the harshness, but those are the facts.
dipstick also said: “In fact, Clinton was probably the best president the USA ever had.”
Yeah, because 80 men, women and children dead at Waco and the birth of the American Jihad was totally awesome!

Yeah and that whole Ruby Ridge siege and execution of a boy, his mother and their dog over a ten day period was pretty awesome too.
Yeah my grandmother and grandfather “belonged to the government” too. They lived in East Germany, very peaceful life, well he lived in the Ukraine at one point too. And for his time of “belonging to the government” he spent 25 years in a gulag too. And boy did they ever show him how much they owned him. When they were done, he couldn’t use his left hand, they broke it every time it finally healed up. Over, and over, and over again for 25 years.
Oh and his crime? Failing to meet his production quota at his farm. Oh sorry, I mean the “states” farm.
Such a big happppppy family.
ET – “I repeat. No roads. Obama’s stupid statement that ‘you didn’t build that’ referred to your private business. He claims it referred to the roads that the government builds. Hey, Mr. Obama, that’s just as stupid. Where do you think your government gets the money to build those roads? Where? Hmmm?”
THIS is what I keep saying. Dumbasses they are that can’t process this.
Indy – possibly my favorite idiot cliche of all time is: “Parents love kids unconditionally”. “Rachel Corrie’s parents loved her unconditionally” I read in a comment a while back, chiding people for mocking her (or the people who made her a “saint”), as though this were just the most obvious thing in the world. Well, hell, maybe they did, although based on how screwed up she seems to have been I rather doubt it. John Hughes’ movies (a little before my time the first time around) are all about the first generation of middle-class children to be materially spoiled but emotionally neglected. (When he died I was almost creeped out to learn he’d directed Home Alone. Just too on the nose.) The family has been destroyed and the result is an army of spoiled emotional cripples.
Eli – nobody has told these idiots one damn thing about the reality of communism.
The Grey Lady said: “Yeah and that whole Ruby Ridge siege and execution of a boy, his mother and their dog over a ten day period was pretty awesome too.”
Yep, classic Clinton.
Speaking of Waco, did you know that Lon Horiuchi recently did an endorsement piece for H-S Precision? Didn’t go over too well I understand.

“Romney will have to ignore that and simply concentrate on his own platform.”
IMO, Romney’s adherence to his campaign plan has been his strongest asset; and, convinced me that he IS the right man at the right time; as confident and consistent leadership is what is most needed in America today(see PMSH).
Romney has resisted all calls from all sides to sway from his well calculated path to victory. Very impressive!
Finally, this strength is exactly what was missing from Newt Gingrich’s campaign, and why he’s not the nominee today. In a nutshell, Newt’s lack of business experience, (experience as an executive), is exactly what Mitt brings to the table.
Indian Homez, well said. Thank you sir.
Eli, my family can identify with that. Good for you to bring it here.
Black Mamba, “Eli – nobody has told these idiots one damn thing about the reality of communism.” This is exactly what is being hidden from the people, and we see almost daily one or two deluded trolls spouting their communistic nonsense here.
The press is full of Walter Durantys.
If the GOP fails to overcome the media and Dem meme, then IMO they would deserve to lose. Why?
Because leadership can overcome a hostile press and dishonest competing political party. PMSH did just that in the 06 election, by countering the LPC view that their values were identical to Canadian values. He then clearly articulated his alternate vision to the electorate through the media and won them over, or at least got them to act objectively/somewhat professional. Because of this much of the media turned on Martin, who ran a hysterical and negative campaign. Sound familiar?
The GOP can and should do just that, it is well within their capabilities. They must accept the fact the MSM is hostile to them and communicate directly with the American people, and go over the heads of the MSM if necessary and not be afraid to take them on too.
If the American people vote Dem in spite of this, then OK, it isn’t really the GOP’s “fault.” That’s unlikely, given the prevalence of the internet, blogs and alternative media voices to the Dem meme media.
Then can, and must do this by the use of leadership. Maybe “deserve” is too harsh, but the GOP must be up to the task. They weren’t in the last presidential election, and IMO “deserved” to lose. Results, not excuses, are what matter and what win elections.
Indiana Homez said: “In a nutshell, Newt’s lack of business experience, (experience as an executive), is exactly what Mitt brings to the table.”
That and Newt Gingrich is a freakin’ DAWG with all the principles and moral fiber of a hairy goat.
Say what you want about Romney, he doesn’t seem like the type to cheat on his wife. That’s important in a Republican. You want to run on moral values, you should have some.

“All the world’s great civilizations have followed the same path. From bondage to liberty, from liberty to abundance, from abundance to complacency, from complacency to apathy, from apathy back to bondage. I was going to write something along the lines of these Democratic Delegates perceiving the meaning of the word ‘belong’ differently that the context most here do.
That while many here view ‘belonging’ as possession as of chatals the Dem Delegates may perceive the ‘belong’ relationship with the government more like ‘belonging to a club’.
Then I read Quebecois NDP separatiste at September 6, 2012 8:31 AM, whose mother tongue is patois French Canadian and is a Leftist too, and he perceived ‘belonging’ to the government as being owned by the government so I decided not to write that as a plausible explanation.
It seems the entire world must now depend on Generation X… Indiana Homez
I agree. It is an undeniable truth that the baby boomers, on the whole, are the most selfish, grasping, and intellectually dishonest generation in US history, with Bill Clinton the prize ass of the lot.
Unless Gen X is better, Bill Clinton and Emperor Barack Hussein Obama will be merely the first of a long line of radical left warlords cementing in place a new dark age, rather than aberrations in the – up until the last two decades – long ascent of America.
it is the result of the Boomer generation’s epic failure in raising and education their children.
~Homez the Ageist Bigot
The Boomer generation are who they are because they were raised to be that way by their own failed parents too.
Grow the hell up, A-hole.
Every generation has it’s failings.
Learn a little something about 4 term U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the rampant socialism he brought the United States after being elected by the Boomer’s parents generation.
Learn about Dr. Benjamin McLane Spock whose book ‘The Common Sense Book of Baby and Child Care’ became an alltime best seller purchased by the parents of the Baby Boomers and altered the traditional methods of baby rearing from the methods used by the grandparents of the Baby Boomers.
Socialism began spreading all over the western world following WWI, the Great War.
Don’t put all the blame on the children born during and immediately following WWII.
Doesn’t satisfy you to heap all the blame on people who are dead?
Sucks to be you.
Too bad you hate your mother so much you son of a bitch.
“moral and the economic mess laid upon them by their parents and grandparents.” – me
As you can see OZ, I did make mention of the parents of the Boomers. And ‘yes’, I do agree that every generation: “has it’s failings.” , but as usual, you cannot see clearly through the haze of your own rage when the accusatory finger is pointed at you and your generation. You become quite unhinged, and irrational when I challenge you that YOU INFACT HAVE NOT PAID YOUR WAY AS A GENERATION, AND ARE VERY HAPPY TO PILLAGE YOUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN’S FUTURE VIA PONZI SCHEMES SUCH AS CPP. Ring a bell OZ?
Your generation ARE the “takers” that we constantly harp-on about here at SDA. Where you differ from previous generations, which I didn’t mention above but have mentioned before, regarding the “selfishness” of the Boomers, is your generation also saw fit to not have enough children to support their retirement; and, facilitated the immigration of a new welfare class to fill the void of the tax payers your generation was too busy to spawn themselves. YOU EVEN F’D THAT ONE UP!
Here is the crux of the matter. It’s hypocrites like yourself who have irreparably harmed the conservative movement, and the country(ies); as you’ve since the 60s and 70s usurped the conservative political vehicles with your own socialism. Sure, kids today are indoctrinated in school; but, those kids that do some critical thinking STILL don’t come to the side of the GOP and the CPC because they recognize the complete hypocrisy of those old folks demanding “Austerity for thee, but not for me”. This is EVIDENT as the GOP is now beaming because they hope THEY are now perceived as the saviors of Medicare. Get it?!?
Finally, it is quite rich of you to criticize me for throwing stones at the Boomers(my parents), while you turn around and throw stones at yours. Did you learn that from Obama? Also, the generations that fought WW1 and WW2 and now in the Middle East(my generation) HAVE AN EXCUSE for overspending in times of war. WHAT’S YOUR GENERATION’S EXCUSE?
I enjoy reading your comments OZ, particular when they are not directed at me. But as I mentioned above, you are quite juvenile when you are challenged; and somewhat akin to a name commonly used to describe a cat.
BTW, apparently you didn’t notice I said “in general” regarding the Boomers. Perhaps a new pair of spectacles are in order. I’m sure you can get a freebie. Just be sure to send your kids a Thank-you note.
Oz, If you can’t post your rebuttals or points without viscously attacking someone move on to rabble or the Star website where you can swear to your heart’s content.
Homez made a good point. I was down at Queen’s Park at the end of the Union protests and talked to several teachers. I stated that the product you are producing for your huge wage and benefits stinks as the colleges and universities have to provide remedial English, grammar and math to the incoming students.
Many of these teachers agreed with me, much to my surprise, and stated they have to spend so much of the school day on diversity, anti-bullying, working together, that they have little time left. My response was you have a powerful union, why don’t you challenge this insane curriculum….blank stares.
As Batb has stated time and again this has been going on for 40 years and we are seeing the results of this leftist mindset.
dave, Homez has been attacking Boomers and blaming them for the poitical accomplishments of their parent’s generation for years now.
Homez is an ageist bigot and I’m sick of his attacks on my generation.
This isn’t your blog, if Kate doesn’t like it she will either warn me, delete me, or ban me.
Stick your criticism where the sun don’t shine, dave.
If these folks represent the majority of American citizens then the end of their nation is near.
Robert,
with all due respect
it seems pretty obvious the end is near
what makes yo doubt the end is not near?
the country is going bankrupt while more and more people and their president want to entitle more and more people and spread the wealth…
and more and more illegal immigrants are having anchor babies wihich everyone has to support financially or pay their medical bills with the money that is not there…
and more and more immigrants legal or not from mostly third world nations are bringing decay – along with the left’s own decay -moral – economic etc – and are almost all democrat voters who support more of what I have just described
and this the short list!
how are they not headed for the end?
Liberalism brings destruction, it is a form of suicide ( and who approves of giving free needles to drug addicts, this is more than an example, it is a symbol of what liberalism is )
and western civilization is more and more liberal every day
how is this not the end?
we will need a miracle to stop avoid this…
Also, the generations that fought WW1 and WW2 and now in the Middle East(my generation) HAVE AN EXCUSE for overspending in times of war. WHAT’S YOUR GENERATION’S EXCUSE?
~Homez the Ageist Bigot
You say it’s your generation that’s overspending in the Middle East?(Afghanistan is in Asia)
My generation is still the majority generation, for now.
Most of the “overspending” is and has been on healthcare and pensions, neither of which my generation is responsible for implementing.
It was my parent’s generation that pivoted from paying the war debt(which allowed the federal governments to usurp the taxing authority during the Great War) to running deficits and citizens to pay for social services like healthcare, pensions, and a raft of others.
your generation also saw fit to not have enough children to support their retirement!
~Homez the Ageist Bigot
We had planned parenthood pounded into us in the schools our parents built and paid for.
We knew there wouldn’t be any money left in the CPP back in 1980, the money that went in when our parents started it was never invested to acrue any growth, that’s why even I’m not going to get any of the money I’ve been paying into it for 35 years.
“it is quite rich of you to criticize me for throwing stones at the Boomers(my parents), while you turn around and throw stones at yours”
~Homez the Ageist Bigot
They’re dead and can’t be harmed, they got the whole soft ride of the social programs they created with zero down that my generation paid for.
Large cohorts of my generation paid into health and pensions, myself/wife included, and we aren’t going to see any of it.
You’re demonizing and dehumanizing of my generation by heaping undeserved blame is going to get us killed, in general and in detail.
As Batb has stated time and again this has been going on for 40 years and we are seeing the results of this leftist mindset.
~dave
You think this indoctrination BS has been only going on in schools for only 40 years?
Dumbass.
So why hasn’t your shit hot generation changed it, huh?
Or is this somehow my generation of oldster’s fault too?
Or maybe change isn’t as easy to bring about as it is to talk about.
then the end of their nation is near.
make sure you don’t get caught in the undertow
What’s with the finger pointing guys ?
This is where we are , what was done is done , STFU and move on.
I am 34 I do not expect a pension plan at all, that is why I am saving and investing heavily in my own ways .
My daughter (who is 5) at least will know that daddys hands are clean of enslaving her entire life .
It o.k. If and when she decides to marry and have kids I will encourage her to have a lot and start the healing.
Sometimes you have to pick up your helmet , and rifle dust em off and push onward .
I know what is coming my way I didn’t ask for it ,but I can’t stop it so I will face it head on and deal with it as best I can.
You both have good points in your arguments but grow up , no sence in pointing fingers if that’s all your going to do.
Good for you Paul, at least you will have tried your best to avoid what is surely coming.
According to one of maz2’s tips @ 1:02 pm in Reader Tips, Japan appears to be smarting up, but don’t look here too soon.
Lets face the truth. WE have mostly all been asleep at the switch since the start of the 20th century since Marxism crept into all our generations. Some of us have seen or felt uneasy at the changes, even got a glimpse of the slow turn around of our morals with virtues, into mockery by Nihilists. I don’t think we really seen the full impact of its intrusion into our lives. The Shift from sanity to madness by those we used to lock up. People are to busy with life, children, work. Two World wars with many colonial ones have blinded us to the lefts taking over every institution we had for progress , than turned it into monopolies or engines of radicalism.
All our generations listened to the drum & danced to the influences nefarious groups have made the norm. Bloomers where just more vocal about it.
From Stalin on the West has become inculcated by leftist ideology purposely. Radio, TV, Movies, books by a lot of now admitted Red babies or their parents. Looking back you can see how artificial some fads where that latter became destructive.
The death of the Idea of real progress being one, replaced by statism. You can see the degeneration of many Empires for different reasons, but the most common is they lost faith in themselves as a culture & people. It will always be the Luddites against those who produce. It always has been. Marinated in envy for those who truly try to make life more bearable for humanity, with those who always figure any change but Nature is unacceptable. The haters of humanity have always been with us, always will.At this point its become so obvious we have been lead by lies to destroy our Civilization we forget its a slow process driven by a small group. Not all people where hippies. Not all where Flappers.
Our Nation have been thick with traitors against it for a long time. Till even they think their heroes or originators of the “new” society. Not flakes who have been herded like cattle. Than of course you have just evil to contend with.
The lies are so thick its a pea soup fog of disinformation, hides in a caravel of misdirection.
Bt certain men, groups or ideologies.
The Pope and Obama are on the same stage in Yankee Stadium in front of a huge crowd. The Pope leans towards Mr. Obama and said, “Do you know that with one little wave of my hand I can make every person in this crowd go wild with joy? This joy will not be a momentary display, but will go deep into their hearts and they’ll forever speak of this day and rejoice!”
Obama replied, “I seriously doubt that! With one little wave of your hand….Show me!”
So the Pope backhanded him and knocked him off the stage! AND THE CROWD ROARED & CHEERED WILDLY and there was happiness throughout the land!
Kind of brings a tear to your eye, doesn’t it?
What Revnant Dream said.
The barbarians are within the gates.
Ayn Rand provided the antidote to Marxism and other false philosophies by the simple expedient of formulating a true one.
Marxism didn’t just arise out of a clear blue sky. It was based on Immanuel Kant’s divorcing reason from reality, followed by the fairy tale concoctions of G. W. F. Hegel, who was the L. Ron Hubbard of his day.
Don’t recall off-hand who said this: “The most compelling argument against democracy is a 5 minute conversation with the average voter.”
Paul
I agree with you; but, I resent the fact that the generation before us (Boomers) are intent taking what they can from their entitlement knowing full well they’ve not paid their way. Oz admits in his own statement that they knew for 20 years the liability of his generation but did NADA! Oz misses the point completely that I’m not critical of the hand they were delt, I’m critical of how their playing their hand. The Boomers should en masse be demanding exactly what you suggest for yourself and our generation; but, they are not! Instead, when you bring-up concerns about this deficit, commenters like OZ say things like “I’m going to take every penny I can from my entitlements and your generation can go fcuk themselves”.(paraphrasing)
So, I am correct, that the Boomers are in fact the takers, and have no desire or intent on doing anything else. This is why Paul Ryan must delay the implementation of reform so as not to end the gravy train for Oz and his gang of takers.
Like I said earlier, it’s no wonder the conservative parties cannot attract the youth vote, as the “base” are those that are spending the nation into oblivion. If I can use the American example, just look at the 163 Trillion in unfunded liabilities, and look at who that money is earmarked for. Not me, you or our kids!
The bottom line is, OZ knows he and his generation have been hoodwinked by the previous generations; but, has no intention of taking the responsibility you allude to in you comment. Oz is entitled to his entitlements!
And Oz, you are really pathetic throwing names around like “ageist”(like it means anything). You are a sad little liberal who likes to throw around little words like “ageist”. You might as well call me a homophobe or a racist.
Chump!
Finally, only a retard would deny that the Boomers are the main culprits in the educating/indoctrination of the back end of Gen X, and the entire Gen Y. If not them, then who? Oh, I know, it’s Bush’s fault!
