  1. Well of course it should have been scrapped. He is, after all, “The Won”.

  2. SNL is probably patched into the same direct line from the DNC that David Letterman is.

  3. You might not believe this guys but SNL was actually funny 30 years ago. They used to have people they called comedians who actually did funny skits. Ah! The good old days.
John Stewart has his moments but normally wastes half an hour in a very unfunny rant. Sometimes scary unfunny.

  4. I use to watch SNL years ago. I can’t watch it anymore. The writing is just not funny…it is so juvenile, I doubt a child could find humour watching it.

  5. Speaking truth to power ended in the 60s, if not before. Today, the phrase carries an unspoken but implicit word ‘conservative’.
    Speaking truth to conservative power.
    Only.

  6. Mark:
The hilarious aspect of that pretentious phrase “speaking truth to power” is that those who use it are some of the most timid and conventional thinkers in academia. They would piss their pants at the thought of breaking with the institutionalized viewpoints of their field.

  7. My gawd, the need for a diety runs deep in the psyche ov the average seculae progressive – they really have convinced themselves this man id the lefty messiah come to lead his flock to the rainbows ‘n unicorns lefty utopia they have all been promised since they recieved their college indoctrination in wishful thinking.

  8. Perhaps it is my grounding in the use of psychology as a weapon but this is very encouraging.
This illustrates/indicates that SNL ( and possibly wider) is thinking OBOZO is what he is, accurately and almost has the courage to broadcast it….sorta like pointing the gun but wimping out and holding fire.
This is IMO the best omen that OBOZO is done….the knives are out.

    A likely story.

  10. Which is why nobody bothers to watch the show anymore – sheer gormlessness.

  11. Why don’t these morons get it that they are The Man, they are the power, they run the show. Conservatives and in particular traditional conservatives are the counter cultural group these days.

  12. The moment they cut the skit, is the moment i’m sure there was at least one person on the production crew of SNL that has finally realized they sold out.

  14. SNL -> controlled by -> NBC -> GE -> Jeff Immelt == Bambam bumboy
    What’s not to understand?

  15. Watching American television, I get the impression that some comedy and late-night shows have stepped up the “those crazy conservatives” jokes in an effort to win the election for Obama. Letterman, for example, never lets a night go by without a Romney joke.

  16. “SNL -> controlled by -> NBC -> GE -> Jeff Immelt == Bambam bumboy” KevinB
NO..GE is not Operating NBC or MSNBC or CNBC.. They sold out to Comcast….,or the FCC gave them no option..
Comcast is operating NBC.. They brought in thier own pLL, but they are as dumb as Hammers (the Zimmerman FU). They have fired most of the experienced production staff…The Executive Producer of the Today Show was/is a “worthless” CUB producer…
The NBC empire has imploded since 2000… The MSNBC facility (NJ) was sold to NFL and now 30 Rock houses both NBC & MSNBC….
    The GE/Immelt-Obama era destroyed NBC

I watched it 30 years ago and I’ve never thought it was funny. It was DemocRat propaganda then, and it still is now. Zero change. And John Belushi was -boring-.
You guys remember the never ending “Ronald Regan is stupid” jokes on TV? I do. Today is no different that the ’80s, except that now when we can yell at the TV the sons of b1tches can HEAR us and be afraid.
Dear SNL workers, prepare to face the unemployment line when we all stop watching your transparently propagandist pap.

  18. I sure hope SNL dies long before the last Hippies. Geez, these people have been a scourge on our generation. Woodstock, sex in the mud and high on LSD , etc they lurched their way through the decades when they were not throwing bombs and tramping on the flag.

  19. SNL is much the same as Jimmy Fallon’s show or Letterman or Leno etc… they never ever make fun of, or parody the Barry Hussein administration… it is strictly verboten. Gave up watching them all.

  20. I cant wait to have a republican president. Then, SNL can start making fun of him again.
