Ever since I can remember, I’ve been chastised by Apple Mac users for being a Windows user & developer. “But Macs are soooooo much better!”, I was always told. “For one thing, we don’t have to worry about viruses.”
I can now hear heads exploding as the facts on the ground don’t mesh with their delusions.
Socialist health care meets climate change tyranny, a match made in hell.
“Surgery bans elderly patient over her carbon footprint
An elderly woman was ordered to find a new GP because the “carbon footprint” of her two-mile round trips to the surgery where she had been treated for 30 years was too large. ” http://tinyurl.com/c9tnour
That was one hellofa golf shot but Kim jong Ill, the great leader of N.Korea played 9 (count em) holes of golf and made a hole in one every shot. Millions will testify to that. Sadly, no one brought a camera.
The whole F whatever thing is such a crock and I could give a rats patootie about who knew what when. Fire the bureaucrats who caused this mess and start again.
Just watched Brian Lilley interview Dave Rutherford. After the preamble discussion about guns, carefully listen to the discussion about the Alberta election.
I so wish some reporter would ask Alison Redford these questions:
1. I’d like for you to expand upon your objections to the Wildrose’s belief in Conscience Rights. For example, if a Christian doctor didn’t want to perform an abortion would you support him in this regard?
2. If a Christian owner of a hall refused to rent it to a gay couple for their wedding ceremony, which party would you support?
And most important of all to be asked of the PC (politically correct) premier of Alberta:
3. If a Muslim owner of a hall refused to rent it to a gay couple for their wedding ceremony, which party would you support?
Anyone want to give odds on how long it will be before THH22M does it’s trademark hit piece on the OLO like they did on all the others?
Obama could make a holy in one across lake Ontario,

Thanks for the Bill Whittle, Revnant Dream. Great stuff.
Gangster government.
Holder’s letter is being widely mischaracterized as a contrite apology for AliBama’s outrageous remarks about SCOTUS. But read it: it repeats the outrage. Note especially the spin on “presumptive constitutionality”: Holder argues that the court must presume that all enacted laws are constitutional. But that would contradict the role of the SCOTUS as authoritative over the question of constitutionality, since Marbury. To play this role, the court must approach the matter of constitutionality as an open question. As it does so, it bears the burden of proof should it determine the law to be unconstitutional. That is the import of the presumption. It is not what Holder says it is.
Not only is this no apology, Holder’s acting as his boss’s hit man: this is bare-knuckled, gangster politics.
Call it what it is.
When you read Holder’s letter, it appears that he’s quoting ad nauseum from some law textbook. I detect no original thought or defense here, just a regurgitation of American legal precedents.
And, then, even though it’s clear that the POTUS was not correct in his statement that it would be “an unprecedented, extraordinary step” for the Supreme Court to “overturn a law [i.e., the Affordable Care Act] that was passed by a
strong majority of a democratically elected Congress,” Holder insists that “the President’s remarks were fully consistent with the principles described herein.” http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2012/04/obama-as-dunce.php
As John Hinderaker, the author of the article Obama as Dunce, puts it, this statement by Holder “is almost childish.” I’d be a little less charitable and say that this statement by Holder is deliberately mendacious and disingenuous.

The Government of Canada is going to interfere in private business once again, because government always knows best! Heritage Minister James Moore is investigating Target stores in Canada as there are allegations there isn’t enough Canadian content on their book shelves!
Moore is the genius who fixed all the problems at CBC,so this should be made right in no time.
Why aren`t we defending our PM??
Because he’s a catastrophe who misled Canadians on the costs of the F-35? And wants to mess around with Target stores apparently?
Does anyone deal with Telus Mobility in Alberta?
If you do,you may be in trouble this weekend. Telus has shut down their website and their phone-in service for top-up payments until Monday.
That means if you are running out of minutes, use your time to your best advantage, or are out of minutes, like me, your phone is a paperweight until then.
This is interesting. I just bought a BIC lighter at the corner store. There is a new sticker on it displaying 4 danger symbols. They are; ‘caution’,’flammable’ a ’50C sunlight warning’,and a grumpy face with a cowlick which has me baffled. I’m thinking it may mean ‘do not give to Ed Grimley’ but probably not.
Does anyone know what that last one means?
I think it’s a warning to keep it away from children.

Sad isn’t it. They have twice the population so it should only half as long for us to get there. We seem to be hell bent to follow in their footsteps.

The cbc and police push to take your ammo has begun. This story which unfortunately involves a couple of soldiers is the opening salvo.
” the second suspect “did possess licences for the firearms, however, several of the firearms were not properly secured and they did not have trigger locks. None of the ammunition was properly secured,” O’Brien said in a press release. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/british-columbia/story/2012/04/06/bc-canadian-forces-nanaimo-arrest.html

CBC has changed a lot of the story that I linked to above. The ammo part is still there ,but they have since changed the headline from ” Canadian Forces members charged in theft” to ” Military private charged in heist”. They have also taken all the comments down and closed the story to comments. SDA readers get results?
Plainsryder,no they really are a new warning label,to help people understand the obvious. I am surprised that they haven’t mentioned that the lighters should not be used for cigarettes,or esp. lighting cigarettes for babies.
So, the very “folks” who object to photo ID for voting in the USA cannot be accessed unless the citizen or, I guess, non-citizen has—wait for it: photo ID!
