  2. Although “global warming” has lost all relevance as a climate non-event, those who still insist upon it, now provide data into a DIFFERENT scientific inquiry: that of Abnormal Psychology.
    Why, for instance, does Algore not return his Nobel prize, if not to assuage his own guilt in the scam, then at least to restore the reputation of the duped clowns who gave it to him?
    And what about Suzuki?
    He is not stupid.
    He knows the jig is up.
    Why does he persist?

  3. That is a brilliant animation! Kudos to whoever put it together. Dystopian brings up a good point, how can anyone look at this and say that the ice is disappearing? Are they insane? Corrupt? Willing to dismiss this?

    Why? Because they are true believers, or at least true believers in the thing that generates their income.

  5. Stephen – I’m not sure which came first, the being True Believers, or their need to Make A Difference. They want to be heros then, in order to be a big enough hero to satisfy their own egos, the problem that they solve has to be huge. If the problem is huge, then everyone’s lives will (of necessity) change because of them. It’s the Progressive urge to meddle sticking its nose in again, the belief that any system can be improved if the right people are in charge.
    I think that they honestly don’t see that they’re doing anything wrong. They’re so sure that they’re right that they’re willing to bet the future of the worlds economy on their ideas. And they’re depending upon us to have no knowledge of history to review the success rate and probable outcomes of their ideas (because they’re always right this time, so think you should ignore what happened the last time. The same as how Communism will still work but only if the right people are in charge).

  6. The last stage of denial will be, ‘but shouldn’t we stop burning carbon anyway because pollution etc.’. They are in it to scam as much money as possible before the party’s over. And it was always about imposing a marxist world government anyway. Imagine if Gore had won. Two terms as US president, leader of the free world, then monarch for life of the not so free world.

  8. Yes, but this is all just new ice, which doesn’t last as long as old ice, and new ice never turns into old ice, so these satellite ‘pictures’ – which I’m sure have been doctored and fudged, like all good climate data – are meaningless.
    Does that sound like the typical response?

  9. But it’s not multiyear ice. It’s new ice! It takes years to form multiyear ice. The damage is done, we’ve melted away most of the multiyear ice already. The only way to save the arctic is to ban all icebreakers north of 60, and build giant sun blocks to protect this new baby ice. We need to nurture it and protect it so it can mature into the all important multiyear ice, we’ve lost. And we can pay for all of this with a tax on, uh, oil!

  11. Well Greg, with the clown they elected, it made no difference. The fool on the capital hill, is, and even more of a marxist communist than Gore-by. He, if not removed soon will show America what his mentors and followers end game was all along, and it won’t be pretty. This whole SCAM was allowed so much traction because of the left leaning mindless media, and politicians so wanting to be re-elected. Anyone with a brain, who had ever looked out an airplane window, could never believe such an absurd fairy tale as “global warming”, yea like puny little man can change the dynamics of this planet. There should still be shame for stupidity, but sadly, in the current world, they stick a podium in front of idiots and believe their bull. Eg. Suzuki Gore Pauchari Strong etc.

  12. I’m reminded of saint suck-zuki whining about Canadians use of water.. in his rant, he pointed out how us evil Canadians used an astronomical amount which was far higher than the Congolese. When you did some digging, it was found that he included water being used to generate electricity. Now I’ve been to the Adam Beck dam, and frankly can’t see much difference between the stuff coming in and going out. Apparently Davey thinks eeeeeeeevil capitalist are hoarding the water, presumably somewhere in Wainfleet.

    We usually don’t lose much water, we lengthen its return time to the waterways for the most part. Alterations in drainage patterns can certainly change water levels locally but the water has just been shifted elsewhere.
    Evaporation aside, water is always flowing no matter how we use it. Where is it flowing and what has been added to it in the process are the big questions it seems to me.

  15. I guess Suzuki Q couldn’t see Santa Claus at the North Pole because of all the ice in the way, last December.
    The extra ice must be the adjustment for inflation so it doesn’t count as real climate.

  17. As I see it there are three kinds of believers in GC, CC, AGW or whatever its name of the week is.
    First there are a large population of ordinary people who have read a little, heard comments from people they believe they can trust and listened to the media hype. They will believe as long as the hype continues or until the whole things gets boring then they’ll move on to the next idea.
    Second is those to whom this has become a religion and we are all aware of how twisted and gripping a faith can become.
    Third are many of the green & AGW leaders, they are in it for the money and the power and when they realize that they’ll achieve neither of these ambitions they’ll start working on the next national or global scam.

  20. Even assuming CO2 causes global warming where does the assumption that severe climate will be a result. Is there one iota of evidence. Isn’t it more likely that moderation of climate would be the result. The warmers argument is that despite having more of the earth covered by water at a higher temperature we would have deserts. Wouldn’t the climate tend to be lush like it was before all that carbon was sequestered in coal, oil, and natural gas?

    It don’t look like a lot of freighters will be plying the North West Passage fer a time…….
    Here in South Western Ontariario a lotta folks are getting excited by what seems an early spring.
    It’s still mid-March…fer cryin’
    out loud.
    In ’46 the neigbour had his oats etc in the end of February….after one of the more severe winters in memmory.
    I recall one morning late March 1978….snow all gone…rain….at about 07:00…the rain switched to snow….I had just set out for a 6 mile commute to the lower farm….I hadda walk the last 2 miles….recovered the pickup 2 days later.
    I shall leave my snow fence up fer a bit longer.
    Climate vs weather…….

  24. Its hard to give up your Religion, no matter what proof is offered. To the greens that Global human caused warming is holy writ. To politicians its yet another way to pick citizens pockets.
    To our enemies it a way to destroy our industry.
    Its too good a lie for too many groups to give up on.

  29. What is the source of the 1974 data? I was under the assumption that polar satelite data didn’t really exist before 1979.
