Jeff McMorris, a caucus organizer, said turnout appeared to be “at least double” numbers in the 2008 presidential caucus, when an estimated 12,000 attended statewide.
Also, that damnable CPC strikes again (from the same article):
In a last-minute twist, the King County Republican Party warned Saturday morning of robo-calls to voters falsely claiming that the caucuses had been delayed a week.

Ignore the troll.
Suddenly there are 31,000 people coming out of the woodwork claiming they got robocalls. Where were they 6 months ago? Funny, that.
I get commercial robo calls every day. I look at the call display and decide not to answer. They can leave a message on the answering machine but never do. Problem solved by not answering the phone.

In all the noise coming from the Ottawa scrum dogs, I still have not seen, heard or read any hard proof on these calls.
If this is true….I’ll still vote Harper.
What choice do I have?
There is no doubt the man is smart, driven, but as this plays out,and to see and how he (Harper, and his people) handle this situation will be telling.
He needs to be less damage control, and more Chris Christie.
@FRAPPNASTY
RIGHT RIGHT AND SOOOO RIGHT!!!
I just spoke with a friend of mine in Metro Seattle. He attended a Republican Caucus. The woman hosting it said that 2 to 3 times the number of people expected turned up.
Not proof of anything per say but it sure would be nice if a quiet under-swell of discontented voters through the Socialist bum out of office this November!!!
@mike
NO-where is it written that just because the phone rings you have to answer it.
Without call-display I would never answer the phone.
apparently when the big boyz use technology to muck around with election results it’s just fodder for Jay Leno’s routine.
them Republicans. up here we call them the CPC.
google ‘diebold voting machines’ for another helping.
p.s. I’m on Primus. about 2 yrs ago they initiated a system whereby you can identify a telemarketer. when enough people do that on a particular incoming number, it checks the setting for your number and now I get one about every 6 months.
Jeez…
Did we not have Greenpeace dangling off the Parliament buildings a few years back and not a whisper about just who let them in the back door?
Did we not have a rogue Senate page, De-Poop, and not a whisper about who she is associated with?
Did we not have Quebec vote in the most bizarre fashion and elect memebers to Parliament that not only didn’t live in the riding but hadn’t so much as put up an election sign and not a whisper about just what the late commie-with-a-cane really promised them.
Did we not have the state broadcaster with a vote compass claiming everybody was a Liberal?
Something is really starting to smell…
When I get a (useless) commercial robo-call, I wait till it connects me to a live person.
Then I let them listen to my stereo. Bluesville usually.

That’s what answering machines are for; cheap call screeining. What sort of idiot answers their phone every time it rings?
31,000 people remember details of calls they got a year ago? I’m sure that maybe a few of them aren’t liars. I don’t remember the details of the automated calls I received last week. WTFs the deal with these 31,000 knobs.
31,000 union members, or some other useless group-think trogs with urgent marching orders from their betters at the local commisariat.
All the wishful thinking (which is all liberals are capable of) in the world will not make Steeeven Harrrrper go away you stupid lefties, he is in for at least 4 more years. Your dopey minions like Kinsella and his ilk cannot personally tuck you all in and read you a good Jean story, get over it losers, quit wasting valuable parliament time idiots!
