We knew this has been happening for years. Of course Canada is “absorbing” the white flight from these countries. Do we really want them here? Look what they did to their own countries.
Like they now say “follow the welfare”, we don’t need any further immigration either from the Third World, or from the Socialist misfits that crapped all over their own nests and want a new one to litter.

Wonderful thing about a 747 or an Airbus. You can get on one and be anywhere in the world in a matter of hours. No taking weeks or months on a rickety wooden boat. No thousand mile walk or ride in a wagon. Our ancestors did that. And the best part is you can move your money faster than you can move yourself. The politicians who don’t understand this are in for a rough ride.
You can bet one demographic is not leaving. That would be Muslims. There not migrants,but Colonists. Compared to Islamist run regions, even a decadent dying Europe is paradise compared to the Homelands they left. At least until they become Sharia compliant. Nothing new in migration or the reasons for it. Those looking for a better life will make the effort to find it.
Similar to the exodus of Californians and New Yorkers to more successful (read, Republican-run) states like Texas. Trouble is, they take their liberal/socialist voting patterns with them. So in that sense they’re not unlike swarms of locusts, devouring whole economies before moving on.
I credit my success in life to Clement Attlee. If he had not been Prime Minister of England we wouldn’t have emigrated to Canada. Does that make me an economic migrant or a political one? Or just 50 years ahead of the trend?
