    Obama wouldn’t want to change the law…..how could all those illegal be able to vote if they had to show ID..Democracy is a wonderful thing.

  2. I think that this guy, James O’Keefe should get a medal for exposing the corruption that every other media is ignoring or denying. He takes a tremendous risk to himself every time yet thankfully he persists.
    Funny how the MSM and people on the left go ballistic when O’Keefe exposes the corruption or the lies that nobody investigates.
    We need more James O’Keefes in this world.

  5. Those attacking Mr O’Keefe claim that voter ID laws would adversely effect poor and minority voters. That these are traditional Democrat voting groups is, I am sure, a complete coincidence and doesn’t factor into their argument…. oh who am I kidding. Basically, these people are opposed to a measure that would make voter fraud more difficult for Democrat supporters. Tells you something, doesn’t it?

  6. Gimme a break. Even the poor and minorities have some kind of ID. Social Security Cards are necessary
    to obtain almost any kind of government assistance.
    If not, then they are even more screwed than we think. The only ones that may not have ID are the Illegals and they are not allowed to vote. Or, so I am told.

  11. The bitter media reaction to this underlines the extent of their partisan bias…when they desperately defend DEMONcRAT election corruption.
    There were instances during the 2010 election where TRUE-THE-VOTE poll watchers had to defend their Constitutional right to observe the poll…to POLICE….called by the DEMONcRAT poll watchers.

    Ironic, huh?
    Even with ‘knock-and-drag’ campaigns by the Dems on voting day and helping these people fill out voter forms to obtain ballots, illiterates still go into the voting booth alone and spoil their ballot because they couldn’t learn how to fill one out properly for the same reason that they’re illiterate in the first place.
    Voter ID not only stops dead people from voting, it also stops literate Dems from voting in place of an illiterate.

  14. O’Keefe doesn’t seem to understand the point of his own expose,he has proven that voter fraud is POSSIBLE,but he hasn’t proven that voter fraud is OCCURRING!
    That said,I can’t imagine anyone anywhere being allowed to vote without clearly identifying who they are and if they’re eligible to vote.
    In Canada we use the two pieces of photo ID and a signed declaration,which seems to work pretty well.
    One of Mordechai Richler’s most enjoyable columns was on how he and his friends were sent to the local cemeteries to copy names from the gravestones at 25 cents each for two of the political Parties.
    Even more funny was that after his column appeared in half the Papers in Canada, no political operator challenged him the veracity of it.

  16. dmorris: two pieces of photo ID aren’t required to vote in cda. All that’s needed is for someone else to swear you are who you say you are and that you live in the riding (a telephone bill with your name on it will suffice – imagine what you could do with a scanner and colour printer…).
    I think we should be required to register and be issued a photo id card AND we should have to dip our fingers in ink. This would eliminate fraud AND it would become a badge of civic honour to have an inked finger – hopefully driving voter participation.

    I’d like to add that only those who are full citizens should be allowed to vote.

  18. All I can say is that if there are dead people voting, then there have to be Democrats involved somehow. Why here in New Haven, Connecticut, the Dem-O-Crack mayor is doing his best to see that illegal aliens get to vote (P-s-s-t they already were voting, Mayor Johnny, as if you didn’t know.)

    I guess dmorris didn’t watch the video: I did, last night. In every case, with no ID, the person presenting himself as a dead voter, was told he needed no ID, and WAS HANDED A BALLOT.
    Such negligence of due diligence is a huge loophole that needs to be closed. I like Gord Tulk’s idea.

    Without reply to the implied insult that I didn’t watch the video,”lookout”,which I DID, YES, O’Keefe proved EXACTLY what I said,and as you just verified.
    There IS a “huge loophole”, BUT he showed NO evidence whatsoever of voter fraud actually being committed.
    Pretend you’re giving evidence in Court,”did you see electoral fraud being committed”? “Remember you’re under oath.”
    Gord,in the last election, my Son had lost his ID,I was allowed to swear that he is who he is,BUT I had to show two pieces of photo ID to prove that I was who I said I was.
    Maybe in other parts of Canada the electoral people are more sloppy in their duties, but not here in Kelowna.

On the other hand, facing a very different electorate in Iowa, Paul pulled pretty much an identical share of the poll. It may be time for those of us on the right to consider whether it’s not so much the conservative vote that’s split but whether conservativism itself is fracturing.

  32. Actually, lookout, you wouldn’t answer that question. Your lawyer would jump up and point out that you are being asked to give a conclusion of law, in fact the very conclusion that the trial is being held in order to reach, and that you haven’t been qualified to give such an opinion. The judge would order the question withdrawn and rephrased.

  34. What O’Keefe leaves out of his video is that one of his henchman had to turn tail and run to avoid being arrested. He also omits the cost of the operation. It isn’t a viable way of rigging an election, it’s too prohibitively expensive and too many people in the conspiracy will get arrested.

However, it’s quite moot re the altogether inadequate, not to say, sloppy and despicable—and should be illegal—voters’ list in NH and many other places. (The official guy in the clown hair assured his “O’Keefe” interviewer that the officials are altogether up to speed—on an ongoing basis—re the dead: “To keep our lists current, we check obituaries and vital statistics regularly.” Really?)
    Add to that fabrication, the fact that voters need no ID. Le voila: isn’t that a perfect recipe for voter fraud? Out of a host of underground, illegal activities, I believe only one Liberal has been charged and convicted of fraud.     Re the USA, it would seem that you’re in the dark about Soros, the MSM, ACORN, the SEIU, (not to mention Obama and company, like Wright, Ayers, and Rezko—actually, he IS in jail now, for 10.5 years), and a host of other corrupt, DemocRATic subversives who are on top of the loopholes, well able to afford them, and who, generally, haven’t been arrested, so far. As such, I believe that you—probably a consumer of the Star and CBC/CTV (or reasonable facsimile) propaganda—have more than a few loopholes in your brain. If that’s not the case, at the least, it seems to me that you’re naĂŻve if you think the NH voters’ list and voting modus operandi aren’t serious impediments to due process both being done and being seen to be done.
