The Christians of Egypt

Because the United States is negotiating with the Muslim Brotherhood, there’s a conspiracy theory in Egypt that says the Brotherhood, the Egyptian army, and the State Department came to an agreement a long time ago and that everything that’s happening now is just play acting.
MJT: How many people actually believe that?
Ramez Atallah: Lots of people believe that.
MJT: Because the three groups are talking to each other? Is that the only reason?
Ramez Atallah: Because they’re the three most powerful groups in Egypt, not because they’re talking to each other.
The Egyptian army is trained by the United States. During the revolution I saw Barack Obama on CNN talking about how American military officers are meeting with their counterparts in the Egyptian army. These military people are like American employees. They’re trained by America, they use American weapons, and they get financial support from America. They’re just as corrupt as Mubarak’s people.
I’d like for the Western press to fight for the rights of Muslims and forget the Christians.
MJT: Really? Why?

damnitt, I was going to post that that read was going to make some heads in here explode, only to come in here and find an exploded head
Yes, Scar, that individuall is more in formed than you are, kristianity and democracy ain’t the same there as it is in the west. Some of the earlist anti american terrorists in Lebenon, were kristians

Or maybe he’s a lot smarter than me.”
Excellant analysis….it really is difficult to identify the Suzuki’s from the McItricks at times.
It has been a while but predicting the arab mentality has always been a problem. Some of our instructors over there were frustrated by the lack of maintainence manuals printed in arabic.
The arabic manuals finally arrived and were handed out….then the Eygptian officers went about an collected them up…..because they needed to have a monipoly on information….
That sounds bizarre but that’s how it rolls….wadda ya do.
There is an upside….Eygptian tanks will break down and the repairs will take longer…if at all possible….
This why the 1967 War went the way it did…the arabs could keep their birds flying while the IDF could not just maintain but swiftly repair….the difference made a lot of the difference. The IDF had air supremacy….the key factor to blitzkreig.
This is why the Eygptian military (due to numbers can prevail over the entire ME…..except for Isreal…who can prevail the entire ME with no exceptions and win a war on numerous fronts simultaneously.
Arab culture oddly enough is the guarantor of Isreal’s security……
The Isreali’s are the ME Spartans….who guard the back trails carefully.

    Muslims = Global street gang.

THEY ALREADY DO! ALL DAY LONG ….

  5. I found this the most telling quote from the interview:
“It’s part of a government worldview that says, ‘we want to protect you.'”
Kind of like the “I’m from the government and I’m here to help you” quote

  6. “They have this belief that democracy will make people happier, but in this culture a benevolent dictatorship may make us happier. Look at Iraq. Look at Afghanistan. Are they better off? I’d say no. Millions of Christians have left Iraq since the war.
The average Christian has not been protected, and neither has the average Muslim. The situation is chaos.
The Americans can’t put in a benevolent dictator because that doesn’t fit their world view, but if Iraq had a benevolent dictator a lot of Iraq’s problems would be solved. Americans support dictators in Saudi Arabia, but they don’t want to deliberately install a dictator in Iraq or Afghanistan. But that’s what they need.
It’s the only way to stop the Taliban. Though a dictator would kill people, torture people, and put people in prison, eventually you’d get law and order. But America won’t support this. Americans want people to vote and make their own decisions, but then you get chaos.”
I think this man understands his own people and their society far better than the “educated” classes in OUR society who project their own biases on the Muslim people and try to force our system and society on them.
“When Egyptians move to America they go haywire”,for all the reasons Mr.Atallah states.
Solution: restrict immigration from ME Countries to those willing to assimilate.

  7. The more and more I see the supposed “people of the pyramids” in action, the more I believe in UFOs.

“Solution: restrict immigration from ME Countries to those willing to assimilate.”
Only a complete mental midget could not comprehend the sensibility of that statement. Yet they flock in our midst by the millions. It’s funny that any other non western country in the world follows strict immigration policies that could harm its cultural social structure including Japan as a G8 country.

  9. Our politicians are more interested in Votes they can count on for the moment, than society itself. Hence the rush to change the Demography of the Nation, if not its culture. Its a suicidal game they play.
Look how Trudeau destroyed every English Canadian tradition he could. While keeping a boutique French culture.
Toronto today is the visible sign of a raped culture. Caledonia the result of a decaying upper class, who have fooled themselves into believing savages can learn real democracy. They themselves become the oppressors of real freedoms.
Hiding away in diminishing enclaves while chaos reins.

UNGWAN RAMI, Nigeria, December 23 (CDN) — Local Islamists and Muslim Fulani herdsmen attacked a Christian community in Kaduna state on Monday (Dec. 19), killing five people and wounding six, area sources said, just nine days after a deadly attack on a Christian community in Kukum Gida in the same local government area.
The Muslim assailants, brandishing firearms and machetes, attacked Christians in Ungwan Rami village of Kaura Local Government Area at 10 p.m. in a manner consistent with other religiously motivated assaults in the state, which saw Christians killed last month as well, the sources said.
Ungwan Rami resident Kumai Yanet told Compass that local Muslims and some Muslim Fulani herdsmen first attacked Christians stationed to keep watch over the village.
“These Muslims attacked our community members who had assembled in the house of my elder brother, Zakka Yanet,” Yanet said. “A few minutes later, they attacked my house, which is near my brother’s house. None in my house was hit by a bullet, but as you can see, there are bullet holes all over my house.”

  11. and as for ‘discussions’ with the muslim brotherhood..this is how they prefer to ‘negotiate’
(AFP) — SYRIA’S Muslim Brotherhood has claimed responsibility for suicide bombings in Damascus that killed 44 people, saying they were the first step in liberating the capital and that more attacks were to come.
The claim on Saturday contradicted assertions by the regime of President Bashar al-Assad that the blasts, which also wounded 166 people, were the work of al-Qa’ida and of the opposition Syrian National Council that the regime carried them out.
”One of our victorious Sunni brigades was able to target the state security building in Kfar Suseh in the heart of the … capital Damascus in a successful operation carried out by four of our kamikazes drawn from the best of our glorious men, leaving many dead and wounded from the ranks of the Assad gangs,” it said on its official website.
”We as defenders of the Syrian people and the sanctity of this nation send a message to Assad’s gangs: This is the beginning of the liberation of Damascus and the tip of the iceberg,” the statement added.
”Hence we warn our fellow citizens and advise them not to approach government centres or security branches … because our martyrdom brigades are in a state of maximum readiness to carry out quality operations in Aleppo, Damascus, and the blessed land of Syria in the next 10 days.”
The statement was signed by the ”Muslim Brotherhood’s media committee inside Syria”.

  12. From the article: “Today the big challenge we have is the aspiration of the revolution for freedom and democracy in a country where people are not trained to have inner control. It’s nearly impossible.”
Yes. And given the running shoe riots this week, the recent riots in Britain, and given Caledonia, I have to say that this particular rot is spreading to the West along with the immigrants.
I do -NOT- mean to say that immigrants are destroying our culture. That is not the case. As was said above by Revnant Dream, our culture is being destroyed deliberately as a political strategy. Bringing in masses of immigrants from places with utterly different ways of life is part of that political strategy.
However, the biggest political movement right now is the conservative one in reaction to all this sabotage.

  13. “However, the biggest political movement right now is the conservative one in reaction to all this sabotage.”
    God,I hope you’re right,phantom.

  14. “The American government is not concerned about the rights of Muslims to become Christians or atheists. It’s not on the radar screen. They’re just concerned about this minority of Christians. That is seen, so transparently, as Western disdain for human rights. They’re not really human rights, they’re Christian rights. The whole big furor in the West about Christian rights ignores the average Muslim and his rights, except for political rights. The average American is not very concerned about the restrictions of freedom on Muslims as Muslims. They’re concerned about the rights of Muslims to become Christians or atheists.”
So we’re bad because we don’t protect Muslims from Islam. Seems to me that’s expecting rather a lot from filthy infidels who shouldn’t be polluting holy Muslim countries.
    Ah, well, Merry Christmas, SDA.

  15. dmorris, consider: OWS was funded by Big Red (Soros, TIDES, ACORN…), they had to PAY those hippies to show up, and they managed to scrape up hundreds of incoherent wankers willing to take their money. Demonstrations that have cost the cities they were in millions of dollars in police time and clean-up.
The Tea Party typically has events with 100,000 plus -normal- people, who pick up the garbage after themselves.
Leftism is circling the bowl, baby.

  16. ….The whole big furor in the West about Christian rights ignores the average Muslim and his rights, except for political rights. The average American is not very concerned about the restrictions of freedom on Muslims as Muslims….
pity nobody told the islamists that they should embrace other’s rights and then we’ll embrace theirs..
(Ahram Online) — Prominent Salafist cleric Yasser Borhami has reiterated his controversial stance on Jews and Christians, describing both as “infidels”.
Borhami, one of several extremist Salafist sheikhs renowned for eccentric and bizarre statements, said he would not reverse his opinion to seek political gains.
“I hold on to my stance that Jews and Christians are infidels, but they do have rights that Allah has given them,” he stated during a press conference in Dakahliah, north east of Cairo.
Borhami, the deputy leader of the Salafist call (Al-Dawaa Al-Salafiyya), was instrumental in forming Al-Nour Party in 2011, commonly viewed today as Al-Daawa’s political arm.
The Nour Party has been thus far the second biggest winner in the ongoing parliamentary elections, behind the Muslim Brotherhood’s Freedom and Justice Party (FJP).

  17. Stop giving the Egyptian army money! It was always a bad idea and it’s insane now.
